My boyfriend and I went here for a date night and it was a lot of fun and the food was delicious. We're both big movie and tv buffs and have been on the Universal and Warner Bros back lot tours multiple times and heard that actors and crew would eat at The Smoke House after shooting. Very much old Hollywood. There's not a show with dinner, but this restaurant is definitely an experience in a good way.

Food here is delicious and an LA institution. My only complaint was the AC. It was a very warm day in the valley and it was incredibly stuffy inside. But this place is great for a date or just to bring the family.

I have been to this restaurant many times over the years. It's been a favorite. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has drastically declined. This doesn't seem to be a fluke. I've had lunch there three times over the last month. Each meal was worse than the last. I'm moving on until they manage to get their old quality back again.
