Absolute home run, what a gem. Will be back ASAP…one of the most amazing meals of my life. Of the thousands of tacos I’ve probably eaten, these were my favorite. No lie, no exaggeration. Almost a religious experience…SO good.

Its fine but seems like could be a lot better with a little work.
Tortillas are good and fresh.
Fry is well done
Protein is pretty good.
A little broader menu would be great.
IMOH the cabbage slaw should be lightly pickled - made the tacos a bit on the dry side.
A few more drink options would be nice too.

This place is off the beaten path but don't miss out on it! The tortillas are made in-house, and these are some of the best Baja style fish tacos I've ever had. Try the fries, they've got that same addictive quality that McDonald's fries have, but they taste like real food.

Yes Chef Tacos is a restaurant that came highly recommended. It used to be a food truck that built up enough to be a restaurant. This place is off the beaten path but don't miss out on it. The tortillas are made in-house and are good and fresh. These are some of the best Baja style fish tacos. The tacos were creative but not weird, with each ingredient balanced and delicious. The fries are well done and have an addictive quality. The fry is well done and the protein is pretty good. The fish tacos and made to order chicharrón are definitely worth trying. The squash blossoms come with three pieces. The jalapeño slaw fish, ribeye, and pork belly are each unique and exploding with flavor. All appetizers were delicious. The custom hard sodas include horchata and cucumber-lime hard sodas. The service is warm and friendly, and the place definitely earned its five star rating on service alone. Parking was easy. A few more drink options and a broader menu would be nice. The cabbage slaw made the tacos a bit on the dry side. It's fine but I wouldn't seek it out.
