We were delighted to see how busy Il Fornaio was when we went there for Thanksgiving dinner. It's a lovely restaurant with beautiful ambiance and decor. Dinner was 4 courses, all well timed so that when we finished one dish, the next one arrived shortly thereafter. Staff was efficient and friendly and they managed to keep things moving without much delay. Three meals were excellent. One chicken dish was dry and unappealing. We were not offered a different dish or this to be remade. That was surprising to our group of four. Otherwise, the evening was great
we arrived about an hour early and sat at the bar. there was 6 guests and when we were seated the server, isabella, was very competent. she took our antipasta order and delivered it flawlessly. she took our dinner order and delivered it as ordered. unbeknownst to me, our order had gone to another table; however, it was straightened out immediately. the manager apologized and comped three desserts for the table. the noise level increased as the evening went on. overall the experience...
