Absolutely love Rasoi! In my, and my family's opinion, the best Indian food on the peninsula. Our favorite is the chicken korma, dal sag, and the kabuki naan. So good!!! Can't wait to come back

We loved this restaurant and it was perfect for our brief stay in Burlingame. Little did we know there was a Winter festival in Burlingame that night, so the town was crowded. Fortunately, for us, Rasoi honored our Opentable reservation and within minutes of sitting down, there were no tables available. The service was good, but since the restaurant was at capacity, there were a couple of misses that, didn't affect our overall great experience. Chicken Tikka was exceptional. We also enjoyed the goat cheese Naan.

Good food and ambience - but surprised that it wasn’t the absolute best considering how centrally this is placed in downtown.

My only complaint of this wonderful restaurant is the ventilation. When many tables are ordering chicken tandoori at the same time, the whole place is filled with smoke from the hot plates. Sometime, I'd go home with the smell on my clothes and in my hair. Still, I must say it is the best Chicken Tandoori around.

Love this place! Food is delicious, service great and the owner is awesome. We even have had them cater family dinners at home!

Overly rated ! The quality of food was okay - we preferred to take the vegetarian options, and those were limited. The taste was pretty average, and so was the presentation. The staff was warm and nice. The place wasn't overcrowded. However, the main thing - the food- wasn't great at all. There are 1000s of better Indian food options in the Bay Area with better price points.

Service was really awesome. Very impressed with the service. Food was good. Wish they had more items in their happy hour menu.

The food was spectacular and generous portions. We tried the appetizer sampler and it was not at all greasy but crispy and flavorful. The sag ghosh, butter chicken and fish were all good. We asked for spice level 3 of 7 and it was spot on. What we didn't like was the loud techno music and the initially slow service. Once we were finally waited on service improved but needs work. For example, main dishes came out but had to wait several minutes for the rice. We will definitely be back.

The staff was super friendly and recommended some dishes I wouldn't normally have tried. All of the food was amazing !

Great time! Food is ALWAYS outstanding. Staff couldnt be better. A bit loud due to a few boisterous tables but that means they are having fun.

Amazing flavor ! Amazing texture!
The chicken tikka had every flavor perfectly accenting one another. The Goat cheese Naan was melting in your mouth with each second of pleasure as you were tasting it.

The vibe was nice too. It had a luxury feeling to it without the crazy pricing.

Servers checked on us regularly.

This place is a 15 out of 10 in my books.

Me and a couple friends popped into Rasoi for dinner around 5:30pm. It was quite empty with only one family seated in this large restaurant. I wasn't sure if it was a red flag at first but I later learned that we were just early as more people trickled in for dinner time to the point where the restaurant was mostly full when we left.

Anyway, I was immediately acknowledged and seated which I appreciated. We then placed our orders and food came out pretty quickly! We ordered: lamb biriyani, garlic naan, saag paneer, and chicken tikki masala. All of the plates were delicious! However, I do feel like the chicken tikki masala seemed a bit watery and had such small pieces of chicken in there. But, everything else seemed great!

We all enjoyed our meal & appreciated the service to the point where my friends and I were chatting about how attentive they were. I'd love to come back here and try other dishes as they had quite a large menu of things I have yet to try.

Garlic naan bread was fire! Loved dipping it in the tikki masala sauce and saag paneer.

Food was excellent. We try to stay heavy on protein, lean on carbs. Some rice to share - don't need one each. Naan, split in two people. Get a whole chicken tandoori, you wont regret it. Put the forks & knives down, use your hands... you'll get a nice decoration on your fingers after but its ok. The shrimp tandoori is great too. Tikka masala for the sauce. Get some lamb tandoori if you like lamb, its top shelf. this place is hands down the best indian in the bay area. don't sleep on this gem.
