Pricy for lunch ( it seems all Italian is now) but delicious food. I had 2 appetizers for $27; eggplant parm & Trapeze salad. My friend had a beet salad & added shrimp for same cost. Sat outside under umbrella. Inside looked dark and maybe better suited for dinner. Would go back again and have same items.
Server was non-existent at times and didn't seem interested in serving us. There were 7 of us and all women. If the 20% tip had not been included in our tab we would not have given a 20% tip. We will not go back again.
This meal, which just happened to fall on Valentine's Day, was a lovely beginning to our trip which started with a flight out of SFO. Fortunately I had thought to make a reservation or we never would have gotten in. The service was warm, the atmosphere was cozy and not too dressy, and the food and wine were great. I especially enjoyed my risotto with scallops; while the scallops were small, they were tender and there were plenty of them. We will definitely keep this restaurant...
