“Great little taco truck, the food was awesome. I got 3 tacos, one chicken, one fish and one bean. The bean one was a little skimpy on the toppings but the fish taco more than made up for it. My sister got an enchilada plate and they were able to make it vegetarian. Everything was fresh, well flavored and high quality. The salsa was high quality too and obviously made fresh. There was a dining area with comfortable, clean picnic tables under a shade. Pretty nice for a taco truck in a truck stop town off the I-5!”

“We just had an amazing experience during our honeymoon just stopping here by hazard and their food was so tasty and they were so generous. Definitely an unforgettable experience for my wife and me!”

“It was so hot outside and this motel was perfect, starting with the front desk personnel. My room was clean, nice and comfortable and faced a green grass courtyard. But most importantly, the air conditioning worked GREAT! My shower was fabulous and the bed was so comfy that I woke up before I even knew I had fallen asleep. If you need a place to stop after being on the long and unending road, this is the place for a quiet break.”

“We stopped on our road trip home and the waitress said “you won’t be disappointed” and she was 100% correct! Hubby finally got his beef ribs, daughter loved her tri-tip, onion rings were fantastic, and the country fried chicken salad was so good! The staff were friendly and it was the fuel we needed for the rest of our trip.”

“Based on reviews, we took a short drive from the 5 freeway, drove to Buttonwillow & enjoyed a relaxing lunch. We ordered tortas (1 pastor & 1 chicken) at the counter & got an assortment of salsas & pickled vegetables while we waited. The food was great, service was pleasant & the simple restaurant was clean & comfortable. This was a nice break from the freeway and fast food. ☺️”

“Then the dude says..."But, ..if it's a fish sandwich you're looking for, you go to the Frosty King Drive In, they're Killer, Killer, like Jerry Lee Lewis...Killer! So, off I went, and let me tell you something, that dude was right, the fish sandwich from the Frosty King was Amazing!

“Popeyes and taco bell have common sitting area here and that's why we loved it here. Popeyes chicken was good and so was taco bell bowl. They have self order kiosk which makes it easier to order.”
