Great place, the rice cakes were the best. You can't make reservations, so there's usually a wait time that depends on how early you get there. Good food and drinks in a small place. Everything tastes fresh, and you can see them making it if you sit at the bar.

I recently gave Shibuya in Calabasas a second try, hoping my initial impression might have been off. Unfortunately, my experience confirmed my initial thoughts—this spot is overly hyped. I brought a Co-worker with me, and she too, confirmed my opinion. The food is just okay, nothing that stands out in terms of flavor or presentation. The location is small and can feel cramped, especially during peak hours.

I heard about this place through Rick Lox the self proclaimed food critic. With much respect I don't know how this place is his all time favorite restaurant. Yes the sushi was fabulous and for the price very impressive. However the staff, lack there of, can take a few tips on customer service.
