A gem of a dining destination with an elevated but accessible menu. Patio seating is a must, and coyote fries are a can’t-miss—as is the entire wine list.

The customer service was the problem, i was my birthday and my family decided to take me celebrate to a local restaurant . I understand this is new restaurant, because i live locally . I thought was odd to be asked to order everything at once, but that wasn’t a problem. The problem was at the end of the service we asked for take out boxes .. there were none! My family asked for a surprise birthday dessert and was told it was taking care of and it didn’t happen . We did get...read full review

The Mulholland in Calabasas is a hidden gem that has elevated dining in Old Town Calabasas, an area that has not had a great restaurant for many years. Located in a long-vacant building, it is a wonderful addition to the community. The restaurant features beautiful, modern yet comfortable indoor and outdoor seating, along with a large bar area. It is relatively small and often busy, so reservations are recommended. The casual and cool vibe makes it perfect for a classy dining experience. Highlights include the Caesar salad with fresh potato crisps, tempura mushrooms, and Himachi Crudo with Yuzu Koshu. The food is creative in plating and presentation, using top-notch ingredients. Notable dishes include the Seared Scallops, Striped Bass, and Petaluma Chicken, which is outstanding—moist, succulent, and served with delicious potatoes. The Ora Salmon is cooked to perfection and offered in a generous portion. The chef's creations, from scallops to chocolate cake, are delicious and worth savoring. The wine list is extensive, with many options by the glass, including selections from a nearby vineyard. The full bar offers excellent specialty drinks like the Espresso Martini and Pink Skies. Service is friendly, polite, and attentive, earning high praise. The late-night menu on Fridays and Saturdays features small bites and a DJ spinning tunes, adding to the lively atmosphere. The back outdoor patio is expansive, scented with rosemary, and warmed by space heaters, making it a great spot for dining at night or enjoying weekend brunch. The Mulholland is a memorable dining destination that invites guests to return.
