Service was slow. Someone who ordered a drink from the bar received their drink almost 15 mins before the rest of the table received ice teas. Took quite awhile just to get water and place orders. The food was fine nothing too extraordinary- small portions for high prices. The pasta is very Al dente- just to note especially if you want to get the kid’s pasta. It’s a cute place but needs to adjust a few things or it may not survive in that area.

We recently moved to the area and tried The Mulholland this weekend. We loved it. The wine selection is fun, different and top quality. The food is exceptional particularly the pasta dishes and the crab salad. Our waiter made the night truly an experience and was so welcoming and accommodating. I have every intention of coming back soon. Highly recommend.

Manager didn't seem thrilled that we wanted a 4 top so we could sit side by side, even though the restaurant was more than 1/2 empty. But other than that, our server was great and the atmosphere was fun..
Menu was creative and super tasty! Grilled peaches were a seasonal favorite. Well designed exterior spaces. Will definitely sit outside next time...

Our party of four ordered multiple dishes because we wanted to try a variety of dishes. Every dish was excellent. The best of them was the focaccia with pizza butter, Kusshi oysters with pickled shallot, and sauted scallops with forbidden rice and curry. Service was excellent as well. Attentive but not hovering. The knock here is the cost. All of the food was priced on the high end, which is not surprising considering the location and restaurant’s commitment to locally grown, seasonal ingredients. But there were only three small scallops on the “entree” plate ($7+ each). The rice didn’t even cover the bottom of the bowl, so the cost wasn’t mitigated by a generous portion of rice. This restaurant also adds a 4% service charge to the bill, pre-tax and pre-tip. There’s a note on the menu so it’s not a surprise. Still, it makes the cost of everything even more expensive.

Our dinner at The Mulholland was a truly memorable experience, thanks to the beautiful setting, attentive service, and delicious food. The chicken and sea bass were the highlights, cooked to perfection with delicate, balanced flavors. The scallops and appetizers were also excellent, offering comforting and satisfying tastes. The staff was friendly and professional, making sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. The combination of great food, elegant atmosphere, and top-notch service made it well worth it, perfect for a special night out.

Chris and his team do an incredible job! We will surely be back.

Nice location, nice decor, nice patio if you can put up with the flies in that garden setting. Where is tails off for me was the food. I have their hamburger ( Royale with Cheese). Clever title, however this burger along with the complimenting french fries were swimming in salt. Didn't get to enjoy the flavor of the food, because the salt was the dominant flavor. Two others order the Petaluma Chicken and they both left half in the dish. For the money....... come on!!

The food was okay, probably 3 stars worth if it was reasonably priced but the expense of okay food pushed me to give it 2 stars.

A gem of a dining destination with an elevated but accessible menu dreamed up by a former Eleven Madison Park chef. Patio seating is a must, and the highly addictive coyote fries, cauliflower agnolotti and tempura mushrooms are all a can’t miss—as is the entire wine list. One more reason for out-of-towners to head to Calabasas.
