Food, atmosphere, service were all amazing! From
The focaccia to the pasta with beef ragu to the scallops! All yummy. Prices are reasonable for the amount and quality of the food. Busy bar area and relaxed outside patio with fireplace. Easy parking valet or paid lot. Will be back!

Hands down the worst restaurant I’ve been to in LA. We came for a light dinner and could barely finish our food because of how bland and dry everything tasted.
First, it took them 40 minutes to serve us 2 entrees but the restaurant was half empty. Starting out with the burger- the patty was extremely dry, absolutely no flavor, burnt and tough to chew that I might as well have eaten cardboard. There was not a single piece of vegetable to balance out this dryness, instead the patty was paired with an oily piece of cheese that just made the whole thing simultaneously dry and greasy. Plus the onions were burnt… I don’t know how anyone can screw up a burger this bad.
Next was the sous vide chicken (recommended by the waiter) which was really just 3 slices of dry and flavorless chicken with over salted mushrooms. The meat was supposedly marinated for 2 days but somehow was still so dry with no flavor. And that abominable dish was $42.
We don't drink so we can't comment on the alcohol, the only thing that was good was the oysters on the shell. Can't say the atmosphere was good because they put us all the way in the back when the restaurant was half empty and we were the only poc couple there… Please don't disrespect your palate by coming here.

Came here for my birthday for an early weeknight dinner with our kids. What a great choice! Will definitely be back. The vibe is casual and cool, the food impeccable. The cocktails and wine list were so intriguing I ordered more than I should have (although they do have really interesting NA cocktail options). Our server made us feel welcome and like one of the gang. We ate inside and jammed to every song. The back outdoor patio is expansive, scented with rosemary and warmed by space heaters- I could see it bustling with diners at night, or a great start to day on a weekend brunch. Must go!

We had one of the most disappointing dining experiences we’ve ever had here.
We ordered three steaks: two medium and one medium-rare. The two medium steaks came out completely raw—dark red throughout. We politely sent them back. They returned the same way, as if they hadn’t been cooked again. For context, we eat steaks at restaurants all the time and know the difference: medium is pink throughout with a thin red center. These were blood red end to end.
After returning the steaks twice, the manager came over, assured us she would personally handle it, and yet the steaks still came back a third time, somehow still uncooked! After multiple attempts, we gave up. By that point, the other two members of our table had finished their meals. Two of us were left with inedible plates, and our two kids were waiting for us to leave. The server had the audacity to ask if we wanted to bring the two $70 steaks home to our dog to eat! After the fourth attempt, we finally said enough is enough we just want the bill and to go home.
When we requested the bill, we had to wait an uncomfortably long time. Our server finally arrived and told us, “If you have any issues with the bill it’s above my pay grade, I’ll have to bring the manager.” Shockingly, the two steaks were still on the bill. The manager returned and asked, “Did you not enjoy your meal?” as if this was about taste rather than the fact that the food had been sent back four times, remained raw, and was simply not cooked to a standard temperature expected from any restaurant that serves steak. Only after explaining ourselves again did she agree to remove the steaks.
To make matters worse, the server then came back and asked if we wanted to keep the 4% “optional kitchen gratuity” on the bill. For a kitchen that couldn’t cook a basic medium steak? Absolutely not. He then had to go back again to get that removed.
This was an incredibly poorly run experience from start to finish—bad food, mishandled service, and zero accountability until pressed. We left hungry, frustrated, and baffled that a restaurant would think this was acceptable. The right thing to do would have been to, without hesitation, remove the steaks from the bill WITHOUT us having to ask. To make matters even worse, after those two steaks were removed from the bill we STILL ended up spending almost $400. What a disappointment.
If they had just said listen the kitchen messed up, we’ll take the steaks off the bill and comp some wine or something like that, we wouldn’t have felt compelled to leave this review.

I wish I could give it a 4.5 because it is really a gem and we go here a lot but we think it’s just a bit pricey for the portion sizes. The focaccia is out of this world and we always get two dips (pizza butter and the fondue) because why choose?? I love all the small plates but it does add up! The cocktails are delightful and the service is always top notch. Great for a date or a fancier dinner with friends.

We love the Mulholland!! Came here on recommendation and we have come back so many times since. Great wine, food, staff, atmosphere, all of it! If nothing else, it's a must-try spot for the focaccia alone :-)
