“The Calimesa dominos has been the absolute best pizza we've had over the years. There are many other great pizzas around here, but this dominos has always give us great service, fast delivery, and a friendly team. I'm really sad to see that others have had different experiences with them because we've always had a Phenomenal experience with them. Now, it's important to note that we've only eaten in the store one time but it was spacious and clean and everyone was friendly. But over the past few years we've ordered from them around 50 times and never been disappointed. The next time that you have a hankering for some cheesy delicious pizza, order it from the dominos in calimesa. They're Fantastic!“
“Small tap room. Cozy vibes. Beer and a couple of wine options. Tucked away in a quiet corner. Just a nice place to vibe and pass a couple of hours, maybe play a couple of board games. Staff has always been very nice, helpful, and welcoming. Food is delicious too!“
“Went in and ordered four different pizzas. Even though I don't like ranch, theirs was very good!Pizzas are baked in a real wood oven. Pizzas came out burnt around the edges, but that didn't bother me at all.Friendly service, nice outdoor setting, and nice store to roam around while waiting for food. The humidor has a vast selection of cigars in a wide range of prices. Will definitely go back.“
“Upon entering, you're welcomed with a friendly "Happy Saturday" from the front desk. The ambiance is wonderfully modern and inviting. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here, with a variety of beers on tap and bottled sodas available. I opted for the sausage pizza and cheese bread, both made to order. They arrived hot, with slices so cheesy and delicious that you can truly savor the authentic ingredients. Definitely a must-visit place!“
“A couple of weeks ago, I ordered some pizza from Shakey's in Redlands on Colton Ave and not only did I get delicious pizza, but I also received the best customer service I have received in a long time. Every employee that I came into contact with that day was amazing! I had accidentally misplaced my car keys and Amanda and Jeff went out of their way to help me. They were so kind and helpful. It helped to know they were concerned enough to take the time to go through the trash and look through security videos. My keys were eventually found and I have them and the other employees working that day to thank... I went back to the restaurant a few days later and again received excellent customer service and delicious pizza. Thank you so much!!!!“
“We've been here on several different occasions and ALWAYS have a good time. From the staff to the environment and the food and the drinks...it's all great! We went tonight to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and had such a great time!We love Escape and will definitely be back. The staff is so friendly and accommodating; we showed up with a large party and they had no problem helping us pull some tables together to fit our group together, including a wheelchair and several small children. There's something for everyone on the menu and a huge selection of drinks.Do yourself a favor and check this place out!“
“Hands down one of the best pizza joints I've been to! We got the meat lovers pizza & it was sooo good. The owner gave me a free sweet pizza to go, it was delicious! My brother ate most of it so I only had 1 slice. We were on our way to big bear, so when we go back, we plan on stopping by here again ?“
“Ordered a large vegetarian pizza. Crust, sauce and cheese great but the cook must love olives and chopped tomatoes and hate everything else. Tough to find even 1 slice of mushroom or any onion on any single slice. Tomato and olive pieces covered the entire pizza.“
“Buffalo chicken thin crust was so delicious. I literally woke up thinking about how good it was. Was slightly limp for the crust but that didn't stop my friends and I from killing the whole pizza. Meat lovers was equally just as satisfying. Will be back for more.“
“This place is a small but mighty local restaurant. You need to secure reservations well in advance if you w at to enjoy the inside decor!! SERVICE: Fabulous! Everyone was great from greeting to food time! FOOD: Not a single issue. We ordered multiple items, all tasty and worth the effort of waiting for a seat! Great food and atmosphere. A secret that is out. So try and get in if you can!!“
“Love your pep pizza and chicken. The place is clean and well kept up too. Especially for the dirty city of Yucaipa. Our last pizza was slightly undercooked, but we will ask for a few extra minutes in the oven next time. Flavor is awesome, the cheese is not the cheap shit and the dough is really good. Broasted chicken for the win.“
“This location was recommended by a friend, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered (1) of the specials that included: pizza, salad, bread, sandwich and lasagna. Bread - Very good, what you would expect garlic bread to be like. Should have ordered more. Salad - Good, but interesting ingredients. Salad had: lettuce / tomatoes /pepperoncini / pickles / and dressing of your choice. I have never had a salad with pickles, and I was not going to start that day. Just removed them, easy peasy. Sandwich - Picked the turkey sub, very good. Bread was soft - meat / cheese / produce - tasted fresh and yummy. I would go back just to order the sandwich. Pizza - Ordered pepperoni and it was sufficient. Not the best pizza I've ever had, but not the worst. Right in the middle. The crust seemed a little thin (for my liking) but I don't know if I made that choice when ordering and just didn't realize it. Overall, I'd try it again. Lasagna - Terrible. There was for sure something the matter with it. It had a super weird taste and after 1 bite (which I spit out), the entire container went in the trash. Something was bad in there or someone should no longer be making lasagna. Overall, we will give them another try and so should YOU!“
“This place was so good. Service was great the food was yummy definitely recommend. And definitely come back. The only sad part is if they don't serve vegetarian lasagna but there are vegetarian options.Vegetarian options: Salad and veggie pizzas but even though their menu says vegetarian lasagna they don't offer it“
“My family and I went here and the pizza was so delicious, the spaghetti was so yummy. It's a big restaurant, lots of seating, busy on the weekends but during the weekdays it's a lot quieter. The people who work there are so nice and friendly. Definitely will be back.“
“Probably the best pizza I've had in years! Medium thickness, good sauce, generous toppings. Crust was crispy without being burnt. Twenty minutes for a very hot pie. Workers were extremely nice. We visited on a Monday afternoon just after noon. I don't know why they weren't busy but I don't know the area as we were just passing through. What I knocked off one star because our table wasn't as clean as it should have been but I'll take partial blame because I chose the table. If I ever pass through here again I will definitely stop. Prices were reasonable.“
“Me and my boyfriend went the other day and got a large pizza and a small meat lasagna. The pizza was very good and you can tell that it is made with quality cheese and bread. The lasagna was amazing as well and came with a side of garlic toast and i really enjoyed it. The service was really good as well. Definitely will be coming back to this place soon“
“Best pizza I've had in years!!! I have a rare tomato allergy, so I don't try new foods or restaurants. Strongman knew this and made the BEST pizza I've had in many years!!! This IS NOW my go to pizza restaurant. Chicken wings were perfect and meaty. Really good people here. Thanks guys!“
“Ah, where to begin amidst the swirling cosmos of Cheesewalla Bar, where the gravitational pull of Sky and Annie's charm is as irresistible as the gravitational pull of a black hole made of fondue. These celestial beings, these guardians of the cheese-laden realm, weave their magic behind the bar with the finesse of cosmic dancers, concocting potions that defy logic and tantalize the taste buds. Sky, with their deft hands and infectious smile, transforms ordinary ingredients into extraordinary elixirs, each imbued with a dash of whimsy and a sprinkle of stardust. And Annie, with her boundless energy and encyclopedic knowledge of all things cheese-related, guides patrons on a journey of discovery, ensuring that each culinary adventure is as enlightening as it is delicious. Together, they form a dynamic duo, a culinary constellation that illuminates the night sky with their brilliance. In the tapestry of Cheesewalla Bar, Sky and Annie are the brightest stars, the guiding lights that lead weary travelers to the promised land of cheese-induced bliss.“
“The family that owns this restaurant are wonderful! The food is delicious. I love the calzones. They have many toppings for calzones, including but not limited to green olives, sun dried tomatoes, cashews, black olives, garlic, etc. They are amenable to special requests (I don't like marinara on the side or inside my calzone). They give me multiple containers of ranch. The onion rings are so good! Mozzarella sticks not as good. The manicotti is also good. I would recommend paying in cash vs. card. If you pay with card, they mark up 3 or 4 percent. I just try to always remember cash.Vegetarian options: You can choose your own pizza/calzone toppings. They have regular toppings and upgraded ones (green olives, sun dried tomatoes, cashews) that cost an additional fee.Dietary restrictions: I prefer no marinara and they always honor this request.“
“I Love there pizza. It's not greasy. I wouldn't recommend the cheese bread or cheese sticks or bread appetizers.( i have not ordered since my first try over a yr ago) Not my fav. Salads and pizza are delicious tho. Delivery timing is fair. Prices are fair too.Vegetarian options: Salads + pizza, appetizers“
“I’ve been going here for years. The food is great, especially the sandwiches. Only problem is the hours are inconsistent. Their own website says “open at 12pm” however, the last few times I made the trip down, they have been closed. Even after 1pm. Definitely call ahead to see if they are open before heading over.“
“This place is a hidden gem. I was hesitant to try because the prices are so low but the pizzas we have tried are great! The prices are great! Customer service is great. Lucian's is our favorite place for pizzas now. We are so happy that we gave this place a try. No regrets.“
“I usually get the pepperoni pizza with cashews and extra sauce. I love their dough and this is by far one of the best pepperoni cashews pizza I have had. All the ingredients are really fresh . They usually have it ready in 10 minutes I can’t believe it. I go here at least once a week. It’s yummy!!“
“Nice place. Came for a concert at the Yaamava Casino and decided to have dinner here. Very pleasantly surprised. The portions were large and the draft beer was nice and cold. The waitresses were nice and peppy. Ambiance was comfortable and inviting. The bar area was fun and there are lots of TV's from which to watch your favorite games. There is also a stage so I figure they must have live music at certain times. Not expensive at all.“
“My significant other and I drive an hour and a half to this Mountain Mike’s every year on my birthday and have done so for the past 3 years. Every year we have the best experience without fail! The food is always incredible, the staff is friendly & kind and we love the environment as it’s relaxed and welcoming. Thank you so much for the team at this location for always putting in the extra effort during our visits! You all are the best! It’s worth mentioning that we take the time to drive out because Mountain Mike’s was our favorite when we lived close to one in NorCal. We had good experiences at those ones too but because of the consistency & awesome staff at this specific location, it holds a special place in our hearts.Thank you again to the great staff & if you’ve been on the fence about trying Mountain Mike’s, let this be your sign to check them out!Kid-friendliness: Mini arcade section & plenty of booth space for big families“
“For those of you who are perhaps too young to remember, Pizza Chalet used to be a chain of sit-down pizza restaurants with dozens of locations in Southern California. Like many other similar local chains (Taco Tia and Pioneer Chicken for instance), the number of Pizza Chalets began to dwindle and shrink from about the mid/late 80s. Now there are only a handful of locations left, with Yucaipa being the closest one to many in the Inland Empire. Oddly enough, as much as I loved pizza when I was a teen (and as much as I still love it today), I had NEVER been to a Pizza Chalet location until about 3 weeks ago. My brother, mom, and I were out doing errands in the area and decided to pop in to see if it was any good. We heard about the all-you-can-eat buffet and decided to give it a try despite a few reservations. Those reservations quickly fell away! What a delicious gem of find this turned out to be. Its located up at the top of Yucaipla Blvd, "over the hill" and close to the historic district near the roundabout. Upon entering, we noted it had the feel of the pizza parlors of old from the 80s and 90s where kids and teens would go when their baseball or soccer games were over. To add to that feel, there is even a fun-zone arcade area for kids to enjoy themselves in and win tickets to redeem prizes at a counter near the entrance! Wow!!! The nostalgia of it all! Speaking of Nostalgia, the place has staying power. This location opened in 1976 and has been around for almost 50 years and touts itself as "The Best Pizza in Yucaipa". The buffet is very much a bargain. They have a decently-stocked salad bar (with 6 dressings!), a regular rotation of freshly made pizzas with various toppings (one of which is a tasty homage to the Gay 90's Pizza Parlor from Redlands that started the whole "cashews on a pizza" craze, a selection of mini Italian sandwiches as well as desserts. All of these were freshly made and delicious tasting. I don't know if the pizza was indeed "The Best"; but I'd say it's certainly above average and quite tasty. The real star of the show, however, is their "Johnnie's Broasted Chicken". OMG!! Where has this been all my life?! It's a pressure-cooked chicken recipe that seals the delicious, slightly salty, and savory flavor down to the bone. The outside is crispy and the inside is moist and juicy. I kept coming back to this for seconds and even thirds! Some of the best chicken I've had in a long time. The employees here were very friendly, and the food in the buffet never had time to get stale. It was restocked regularly. To top it all off, they even had a decent selection of 6-8 beers on tap including local microbrews! Gotta have a cold beer with pizza, right?!? I will say this about the price. The buffet is your best option for value here. It runs from 11 am - 2 pm every day, and from 5 pm - 7:30 pm on Monday nights. Outside of that, the price of the pizza and chicken by themselves do tend to be a bit more expensive than other places in the area, especially the chicken. Prices seem to be on-par with the Gourmet Pizza Shoppe in Redlands. You can check out the pictures of the menu others have posted to get a good idea. I admit the sticker shock made me deduct a star in this case. That being said, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND coming here for their lunch buffet of on a Monday night for dinner. There are lots of options to choose from and I absolutely guarantee you will fall in love with the broasted chicken! A bit pricey overall, but still a fun spot in Yucaipa to try! Come alone, with family, or bring along the whole soccer team! These are the type of local spots we want to keep open for years to come.“
“Papa Johns is our go-to for indulging, we go all out for the stuffed crust! I keep it simple with my own Hawaiian style pizza: Canadian bacon, pineapple ?, pepperoncini peppers. Delicious! As for the location, easy freeway access, small place in a little plaza, homeless hangout at night tho. Staff was polite!“
“Awesome pizza and antipasto salad. Fantastic. Great counter service. Highly recommend.UPDATE: There is nothing to add except the dressing containers have shrunk in size. Had I known they were now smaller, I would have bought more. Nonetheless, it's still an all-around great place.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian pizza was super!“
