This was a meal I will never forget! (In a good way) this was an experience, not just a phenomenal meal. I think I counted 14 people in the kitchen around Chef Rogelio, he was the conductor of this brilliantly choreographed Broadway play of dishes, each of which was a masterpiece of its own. This may possibly be our favorite meal ever and we’ve been to some pretty fantastic places. We were met at the door with bubbles by the Somalia, excellent Wine list by the way, we met the manager Miguel as well as we had a cocktail just before dinner. Adam was our waiter, he was excellent, entertaining and took any pretentiousness out of the picture. I would request him every time. Even the bussers were great, I think their names were Andreas and Patience, pastry chefs were Lily and I wish I could remember the other young ladies name because she was great and made us laugh just a little bit also. I know I’m not talking about the food here yet, because I don’t think there’d be enough room in this review but trust me it was out of this world, in fact if I could pay for additional stars on this review, I would it was that great can’t wait to go back
While the first 2/3rds of the evening were filled with lovely service and dishes; the back third turned to a series of rushed plates followed by zero attention from staff for 10-20 minutes at a time, even *after asking* if we could simply get a water refill.
Incredible fine dining experience. On par or better than some of the multiple Michelin star restaurants like Californios and Saison. Excellent presentation of food, immaculate taste and really friendly hosts. The walk through the kitchen adds to the experience! Truly a wonderful experience deserving of 5 stars!
We ate breakfast here as part of our stay at the four seasons, the first week of April 2025. The food was delicious, and extremely well prepared. I must also say that the staff is expertly trained and talented. We had a great experience and the food was delicious.
Went to help celebrate a banner birthday. Loved this place. It was the first time, after eating at a long list of Michelin starred restaurants; to have waygu on the tasting menu, without it being a supplement. It was superb. Enjoyed the experience. Happen to end with the same flavors of a dessert we’d had a decade earlier.
On top of a great menu executed exceptionally, the service was magical! Luxurious and professional, yet so warm and inviting. Thank Bri for an amazing evening!
Amazing experience! Thanks for a great dinner and unforgettable experience.
Best restaurant I have ever been to. The special touches they put on everything is superb. They invite everyone into the kitchen for a little tour. This place is special. Although I’ve never been to French laundry, I’m not sure how it could be better than auro.
One of the best fine dining experiences we’ve ever had in the Bay Area. Incredible food with inventive (Mexican) inspiration. Reminded me a bit of Pujol, a bit of Canlis, and a whole lot of fantastic.
In wine country you’re spoiled for choice, but it’s the warmth (and competence) of the kitchen team and staff that really sets Auro apart. From being greeted with bubbles and bites from Miguel, to warm and hospitable service from Cindy to the incredible food the whole staff produced…we were blown away.
Excited to see them get more stars but stay true to their good vibes and authenticity!!
Poor service.

Outstanding! Chef Rogelio Garcia has curated a great menu with artistic flair. The seating provided a view of the kitchen’s hive of precision activity. Service was excellent and a very enjoyable experience.
Dietary restrictions: Even though we chose Chef’s tasting menu they substituted a portion for a pescatarian among our guests.

Our experience was so special, and felt very personal. Everyone knew the food, and seemed to enjoy being there. We feel lucky to have celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary at Auro's! Thank you!
We came out to Calistoga to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday. Our weekend was perfect. From the planning to the weather, vineyards, hospitality and all of the wonderful dining experiences except one. Auro. Three couples traveled from NJ, we had the tasting menu as well as the wine pairing. The service was wonderful. At the conclusion of dinner we were given a tour of the kitchen, which also was lovely. Later that evening, 4 out of 6 of us were violently ill. All symptoms from horrible stomach cramping, multiple trips to the bathroom for hours and cold sweats. From 2am (dinner concluded at 10am) until 8am and continued throughout our 5 hour flight home to NJ. This was the clearly the result of improper food handling or spoiled food. Once returning home to NJ, I contacted the restaurant kindly where they did a "report". Today they contact me with no findings. They offered nothing. A dinner bill that was paid of astronomical cost and they offered nothing but a sad. pathetic apology. I would never recommend this restaurant. Highly disappointed in the unprofessionalism of the brand. It's very sad that we had such a lovely trip with an awful ending thanks to Auro and their lack of caring of the customers but more care taken with the income. Will make it a point to tell all fellow travelers coming from the East Coast to stay away. Not that they even would care because they'll find someone else to take advantage of.

Review of AURO Restaurant at Four Seasons Nap: The first three photos are the complimentary bread and desserts. The last six photos are the appetizers. They are all included in the $225 per person fee, with no extra charges. The prices are clearly marked.

The tasting menu is absolutely fantastic, the service was wonderful and a conversation with the chef at the end of the night was the icing on the cake. Fantastic experience, extraordinary food, and wonderful ambience.
