Honestly…meh. It felt like the concept was based around “expensive” because it’s in the four seasons, rather than for example good cooking. The chef had obviously been to culinary school (he used Vadouvan curry…) but nothing surprised me and I was just waiting for it to be over.
In short, you may find yourself disappointed at this 1 Michelin star experience. If you have one night to dine only, skip Auro and go to the other restaurant there (Truss) unless Auro has a one-of-a-kind wine pairing with a local powerhouse.

This was a meal I will never forget! (In a good way) this was an experience, not just a phenomenal meal. I think I counted 14 people in the kitchen around Chef Rogelio, he was the conductor of this brilliantly choreographed Broadway play of dishes, each of which was a masterpiece of its own.
