Just kind of failed at serving us anything close to what was advertised in the pictures. We waited 20 min for a cheese board and then it was vegan. Waited 10 more min for a cheese board and it was weird. Jalapeños on top of strawberry jam, stale bread and almonds, a soft cheese that made my kid gag (lol) .
What a great place. Atmosphere is wonderful and we had amazing service. Food was good but broader selection for number of concepts would have been nice.
Went on a quiet Friday for a birthday lunch for 2 people.
Restaurant was pretty quiet with just a few tables of customer’s. Had to ask where the outdoor sitting was. Sat down and saw QR code for ordering. Reviewed menu on phone and placed order. No servers around to ask questions. Food came quickly. Got fried cauliflower which was delicious. Needed extra dipping sauce and was told there was a fee for extra. Seemed a bit ridiculous as the size of dipping sauce bowl was pretty small.
Pizza was also very delicious. But as for service it was nonexistent. Put food on table and then never came back. Had to ask for drinks which finally came after food was served. Had to go into restaurant to get container to take home leftovers. Then Added automatic 20% gratuity to bill with only option to add extra. Quite expensive lunch for 2 food items and nonalcoholic drinks.
Food was well worth visit but don’t expect service.
Great spot - great food - great atmosphere
There’s finally a chill spot in downtown Calistoga with incredible food, drinks, music and the owner and staff are all warm and friendly. In a sea of corporate takeovers in Napa, this is a mom and pop shop that serves better casual food than most their neighbors. Would rate 6 stars if I could.
Amazing place in Calistoga with great drinks, delicious food and fun people! The owner Michael and his super talented staff went out of their way to elevate our vacation with a memorable experience.
Highly recommended and we will certainly be back, the next time we visit, to our new favorite place!
It’s such a beautiful spot! I recommend stopping by if you are in town even if you are not planning on drinking or eating. It’s just great to walk around - they have a chic interior and nice area with some old wagons which are nicely decorated too
The train car interiors are fantastic - more people stop in to look than actually eat/drink. This is likely because the service model is horrible, and service itself is comically bad.
There's a sign in the cars that says it's not full service and to use qr codes, but there's no QR code near the sign nor indicator of where you can find it. Staff actively ignored us when we asked questions. Finally found out the QR codes are on the table and ordered caviar and champagne. Caviar came out somewhat timely, but champagne (and staff) was nowhere to be found for another 15 minutes. Caviar was served with no ice, which would have been less problematic had we not been waiting so long for the champagne to go with it.
To top it off, there is a mandatory 20% service charge despite not being full service. Be like the rest - check out the car and then go elsewhere to eat and drink.
Nice area to visit with lots of history placards. Can't comment on the food or drink.

Wow, what a gem! A very special location where history, great food, and gorgeous spaces collide. Step out to the charming and magical outdoor space and order from 4 different eating establishments. Finish up by stopping at the mouth watering chocolate shop. One of our favorite spots.

This place is a gem in Calistoga. Great outdoor seating beside a creek which is especially nice when it's hot! Our server was extremely attentive and on the ball. Oh.. and the oysters, calamari, Ceasar salad and skirt steak were awesome!

The people were friendly and nice. The venue has newly remodeled train cars, each with a different theme. The saloon car was fun with a photo booth and saddle barstools. The restaurants are fancy, high end.

Fantastic food and atmosphere. The train cars are each their own restaurant. And if you want to be outside you’ve got access to the whole menu.
The vegan / vegetarian options are delicious. Impossible burger was yummy.
Service is terrible with long wait times, forgotten items and orders, but the food worth it

This place is honestly amazing. This hidden gem is a treasure. The owners Micheal and Robbie were the best hosts. We had oysters, champagne in the under the sea train car. It was phenomenal. The saloon car with the photo booth and props were hilarious. The industry on Monday was so much fun. DJ playing great jams. I could not recommend this more. Go to this place!!! Also the chocolates are mouth watering. Everything amazing hands down
