Fantastic wine. After visiting Mayacamas, Montelena, Amorosa, we had quite a variety and we didn’t know much about Lawer but after trying it decided the wine here was up in the ranks. Loved it!

This was my husband & I'd first stop upon arriving in Napa Valley and we couldn't have had a better time! Christian, the manager, greeted us and was so welcoming our entire stay. We sat outside on the back patio and did the Portfolio tasting which was excellent. The Viognier and the Cab were particularly good! I'll the grapes are local to Calistoga, and it's owner founded & run which I always love supporting. I would highly recommend you pop by, as reservations aren't needed!

we were staying in Calistoga for the night and came across this cute little place on our way to our hotel.It was absolutely adorable once I got inside. Super clean and water in the space was amazing. I got the sparkling wine to drink, which was incredibly smooth and delicious. Christian was incredibly friendly. He spent so much time really telling me about the region and a little bit about the fires that occurred a few years ago. He was incredibly knowledgeable not only about the wines, but also the area which I truly appreciate it as a tourist.

My daughter and I were staying in Calistoga last week and happened to go in Lawer Estates Winery for a glass and to sit outside on their beautiful patio. Christian was such a pleasure to talk to and told us about the Wine Crawl Pass. That was a must-do when in Calistoga! We went in wineries we would never have visited. Our favorite on the Crawl was Lawer Estates! Thank you, Christian, for making our mother/daughter vacation so special. We cannot wait to come back to visit! The wines at Lawer are amazing!!!!

This place was great. The staff was very friendly. This was my first wine tasting. They tailored the experience specifically for us and made it a real learning experience. One of the nice perks is, if you spent about the same price on a wine purchase as you would have the tasting they wave the tasting fee.

Lawers Estates is located in the heart of Calistoga, CA, so it’s easy to find, and if you’re staying near the town, walking to Lawers Estates should only take a few minutes. We didn’t have a reservation for the wine tasting, but we walked in and got a few seats.Lawer Estates is a relatively small winery, but they had the best red wines I’ve ever had. Most of the seating was around the bar, with one section in the back with a large table and a couple of chairs. My only recommendation would be to add a few more cozy chairs as options for those that don’t want to sit at a bar.The prices were in line with where they should be, and the service was top-notch. If you are in the area and looking for a romantic winery in Calistoga, I recommend stopping in.Overall, I would come back. Thank you for the fantastic experience!
A nice intimate setting in downtown Saint Helena. This place is a gem and the two employees were very attentive. The sparkling wine was top tier. Very crisp and fruity tasting. The Brut was refreshing and the Chardonnay was surprisingly crisp. I'm not a Chardonnay fan because they are usually heavy and buttery but they provided us with two options one was buttery but the other was fresh, crisp and fruity. Each wine had a nice alcohol content and a delicious finish. I definitely recommend this place. The price per tasting starts at $35 but can be waived if you make a purchase of a certain amount. I could not resist purchasing 6 bottles. We will definitely be back.

We will definitely be coming back to Lawer Estates. Christian served our drinks and took the time to answer all of our questions about the wines as well as Napa Valley in general. He was so informative, and went above and beyond by sharing maps of Napa and where the Lawer vineyards were located, plus he showed us a soil map and explained about the different soil types. The outdoor patio is beautiful, right on the Napa River. We loved it here!
