The service was good, the tuna appetizer didn't seem as fresh as I'm used to which was disappointing. Dessert was excellent. The entrees were good, nice presentation. It is part of a resort (4 seasons) so lots of guests. Spacious area for relaxing and enjoying the evening air with a glass of wine.
Lovely setting and nice food. Wine was overpriced, but you are sitting in a wonderful hotel.
Service from the staff were A++++. Food was excellent, especially the spicy squash blossom pizza. Bread was a bit overpriced at $18 and same with the lobster linguini. Desserts were one better than the other. Yummy wines too!
One of the best burgers I've ever had in my life I'm not kidding. Bread pudding and bolernse was good also!
Remarkable service. Everything was very tasty and well prepared. The NY steak was very good. My only disappointment was the desert that we ordered. We ordered Pavlova and the meringue was very chewy and not crispy as I will expected. Overall it was a very nice diner in a very nice scenery.
We came for dinner around 6:30-7 PM. Everything was delicious, but my absolute favorites from the night were the Burrata Salad (with added Prosciutto), the Living Room Pizza, the Calistoga Tropics cocktail, and the Cha-Cha Chill cocktail (alcohol-free). I also have to say the Smores Kit definitely gets an honorable mention, because it's such a fun experience roasting your marshmallows in the middle of a restaurant. Eddie was our main server. I have to applaud him for balancing all the tables and still maintaining his energy for everyone. Our other server whose name I didn't catch was always so attentive to every table and our water glasses never remained empty for very long. It looked like they did accept walk-ins depending on capacity, but I would highly recommend making a reservation. It appeared to get busier around 7:30-8 PM, but they also have a bar for a less formal dining experience. The restaurant is located on the property of the Four Seasons resort. If you're driving, you can valet park by going up the ramp on the left or you can self-park by entering the parking lot on the lower level. The surrounding area is stunning. You're definitely going to have a a great view regardless of where you're seated. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would highly recommend Truss if you're visiting Calistoga for a special occasion.
The ambience and views of the mountains are wonderful. The food was very meh. We had the squid ink octopus which was so disappointing. The octopus was a slimy texture and the squid ink was gooey and tasteless. The living room pizza was very good. The lobster fettuccine pasta was also disappointing as it didn't have very much flavor. Service was great and would definitely go again to enjoy the outdoor seating but there are more delicious places to eat in Calistoga.
We love it.....the cocktails were great, the starters were right on....main course excellent....followed by a delicious dessert.
Great drinks, food and service. I wanted to order everything off the menu. And you can't beat the views!
Really beautiful, almost empty though and our service was terrible. We would never recommend. Our server didn't put our food order in and went on break (we were told later) and no one checked on us to refill our drinks or asked how we were doing. We were alone for 30 minutes. They did apologize and comp the beverages we got before the break.

We discovered this restaurant by chance after searching for where we could dine after wine tasting in Calistoga. We arrived almost two hours early for our dinner reservation, but the staff was incredibly accommodating and seated us right away. The service was attentive from start to finish, and the food arrived quickly, making it perfect after a day of wine tasting. We ordered from the happy hour menu, which featured familiar favorites. While the selection was pretty standard for happy hour, the standout was definitely the meatballs—light, airy, and served with a flavorful red sauce. Based on this first visit, we're definitely planning to return to try the full dinner menu. Looking forward to seeing what else the kitchen has to offer!
Calistoga bowl was incredible as was the onion dip! Staff was so kind and welcoming. Highly recommend.
Last Friday, we enjoyed the Niwa x Laurent-Perrier pop-up at Truss, Four Seasons Napa for the grand opening. It was sooooo good we came back for dinner. Japanese-Peruvian menu. We orderee hamachi tataki with lime and serrano, wagyu tataki with truffle and crispy onions, and cod with a slightly sweet glaze and pickled cucumber. Every dish had something rich, something sharp, and something that made you take another bite just to figure it out. Every bite was delicious. For Drinks? Forbidden Forest had pineapple, sake, and cachaça—tropical but not too sweet. Whispers of Nikkei had whisky, toasted sesame, and chamomile. It was hard to pick a favorite. And the setting felt like a luxury spa with vineyard views. thank you Truss! You exceeded our expectations #FourSeasonsNapa #NiwaLaurent-Pierrier #Napa #Japanese #Peruvian
We had a lovely time at Truss celebrating three birthdays at once, where the food was amazing and service impeccable. The atmosphere was elevated yet relaxed, and we really enjoyed the views of the resort and nearby mountains during the sunset. We were seated early without any issues based on our arrival and were treated to a complimentary dessert for our special occasion, which was a nice touch. Their sea bass dish was the highlight, with a perfect balance of flavors and texture at every bite. Overall the experience was wonderful and enjoyable!
Late Dec2024 One of two main dining establishments at the Four Seasons in Calistoga and is the principal outlet for staying guest.
Our dinner dining experience features Napa Valley cuisine and drinks with ingredients mainly regionally sourced. The dishes were fusion representations of a number of classic European and American dishes with seasonal components. The menu is varied but easily navigated whether you are looking for a light or heavy repast.
The servers are very well informed, helpful and attentive as expected of the Four Seasons brand.
The bistro interiors are modern, warm, and comfortable with high vaulted ceilings and a spacious layout that provides a balanced privacy as well as a communal feel.
Our first proper meal during our arrival at Napa Valley was indeed a satisfying one.
