Sheila's is a diamond in the rough I would haven't ever known it was there. Great time, great service and great food! I will be back and recommend to anyone looking for fresh ingredients and the delish wine selection.

The service is always great and the food, no matter what, is always freshly made and delicious. The atmosphere is a bit upper scale but not too fancy, and more of an adult dining experience. We have been going to Sheila’s well over 10 years now, and have never been disappointed. The tuna tar tar is my favorite and their specials are always fun to try!

Recently went for dinner. Absolutely impressed the at Camarillo has such a high class restaurant. Borderline Michelin one star quality. Incredible how much thought, personality, and menu excellence was behind this great dining experience. Food preparation and presentation was superb. Wine selections, glass or bottle, were really well thought out. The meals (yes, I sampled others selections) were beyond criticism. The service was warm, friendly, and should be used as an example for others to learn from. Ambiance was equally impressive. Do yourself a favor and go here. Bring anyone you care about or need to impress. Amazing how well they have it all together. Incredible hard work doing it right...they truly have done it right. This could hold its own in any large City.

Also known as Shelia's wine bar. What I like is how they were not dick's during the pandemic. I love their wine selection. The food to be honest is better than cafe fieore's in downtown Ventura and they could step it up but that always treat me good here. I love their fresh baked cookies and so do my friends. Vote for Shelia's place.
Disappointing all around. I searched for an hour to find a good bet for nice evening dinner. Not here. We were sat in the lobby waiting area where 2 tables were placed...overflow? Not one person came in after our 7pm arrival. House manager said without reservations, this was it. Wild Boar shank was beef chuck pot roast. I shared some with one of the people at my table. She said it tastes like beef pot roast. Ta-da! Reviews say their fresh sourdough rolls before dinner were special. Same house manager came to table and said, "Would you like to start with fresh bread?" I says, your reviews say it is complimentary." He said, "Most people say the don't want the bread." What?? He is sending a message that he would a save a dime when our 3-person dinner was over $150. Closer to $200.

My husband and I and another couple went to Sheila's wine bar on Saturday. We are regulars but our friends had never been there. Sheila's is just awesome. I would say it is in the top of my list of restaurants in Camarillo. The menu is awesome, and the service is phenomenal. We had wine and bread to start. The bread is fresh and warm, very delicious. We then moved to saldas. My husband and I had had the Pear salad which was outstanding. Our friends had the loaded wedge salad; which was also great. As usual, our server was Moti. He is very charming, friendly and thoughtful. Wine and water were never empty. Food was really special, halibut for me, braised short ribs for my husband, carbonara and hanger steak for our friends. Everything was absolutely perfect. Not one bad bite in the whole meal. Our friends were so happy and impressed with the food, that they were asking when we were going back. Super impressed, couldn't be more happy with the food, the team, , and the whole experience.

We've been coming here for a long time and always have great service and great food. I miss some of the previous menu items but was told with advance notice they would make some of our favorites. We haven't tried that yet but will next time.
