Alittle hard to find, but WELL worth it. Google maps will take you to a trash can for a Vietnamese Restaurant back door. Walk around to the other side to a hidden black door with planters on both sides. Enter into paradise. A very cool DTLA or NYC Speakeasy style Craft Drinks and amazing Whiskey list. Go! This is a great find.

Best old fashion!
Always a great time. Intimate, quiet, inexpensive. Service is always amazing and the, although, llimited, food menu is fantastic.
The only hard liqour they have is whiskey but the price per pour can not be beat. Maybe ten beers on tap and a fair amount of domestic seltzers and beer in cans and bottles.
The place is tiny so keep this as a small 2-4 person group spot.

Bartenders and owner are all super cool. They don’t overprice their cocktails either like most speakeasy. Great spot! My friend’s DJ on Wednesday nights. So go then!
Hidden Gem in Camarillo!
I had the pleasure of visiting The Amendment in Camarillo, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. It’s a cozy, intimate speakeasy with a welcoming vibe that makes you feel like you’ve discovered a secret worth sharing.
The drinks? Outstanding. The whiskey sour was made to perfection—smooth, balanced, and topped with velvety egg whites just the way it should be. The old fashioned was spot-on with just the right blend of bitters and citrus, and the mai tai was refreshingly authentic with bold, layered flavors.
This place clearly takes pride in its craft cocktails, and it shows. I’ll absolutely be returning!
Amazingly hidden if you know you know kinda speekessy place.
I've been to many speakeasies around the country. This one is fine but I would never give it 5 stars for either the drinks or ambiance. Very nice people, though!
I only had a few appetizers, but they were very good. My wife used to work next door and are there often and highly recommends their food.

The best venue for live music in Camarillo! Be sure to catch Adam and Sam if they play again on a Sunday night- great acoustics for guitar and vocals- excellent vibe to take in the scene and lose yourself in time. Excellent!

I put 5 stars for food because drinks were not an option. This place is a speakeasy and it does not disappoint. Super cool atmosphere with “secret” entrance. Very nice to have a cool, local place within Ventura County to enjoy a nice cocktail.

The Amendment speakeasy lounge in Camarillo is a hidden gem tucked behind Basil and Thyme Vietnamese cuisine. To enter, you'll need to find the door inside Basil and Thyme. Open only on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6 PM to midnight, this intimate venue accommodates around 20 to 25 guests at a time.Stepping into The Amendment feels like entering a time machine. The wood and brick decor, dark colors, leather seats, and glass bottles at the bar transport you back in history, replicating the ambiance of a real speakeasy. The retro-style bar offers a menu of speakeasy-inspired drinks, ensuring there's something for everyone's palate. The bartender, reminiscent of those during the speakeasy era, takes your drink order politely and delivers it to your table with finesse. Their service is impeccable, and the bartender is knowledgeable about the menu and the speakeasy era in general, readily answering any questions.I'll definitely be returning to The Amendment for its cozy and intimate atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a drink with friends. While the prices are a bit higher, it's worth it for the novelty and rich history this bar has to offer.

Showed up at 6:30 pm on Friday night to try this establishment. Doors were locked. There was a bartender behind the bar and he saw us... but would not open the door. Disappointed...
