My matcha was TERRRIBBLEEE, cooked it way too hot. If I had ordered coffee and it tasted like that I would’ve given it a one-star, but I understand that this isn’t a matcha specific cafe. Still, if you’re a coffee shop and you’re gonna sell something, you should feel a bit inclined to make it right. Matcha has to be made at a certain temperature or the amino acids breakdown and it becomes bitter, thus was the case for me.

Looks like a cute spot. Went in and the older guy working didn’t greet me, just walked in from talking to friends outside got behind the register and stared at me. I said hi good morning. What flavors do you Have? He looked at me looked a side wall shelf that had all the syrups. Said nothing. Pointed at them then walked away. I left. No communication just pure rude. I went to Lilly’s cafe which was so cute and the ladies there were so sweet. Would rather have a massive caffeine headache then to give my money to this coffee shop

The gluten free pumpkin chocolate chip muffin was hearty and checked all the boxes. The mocha coffee with almond milk was freshly ground and prepared in minutes. The place was decorated for the holidays. The relaxed service and the beach-themed space with the sky painted ceiling feel local and unique to Cambria. Other local business owners came in and talked with the cafe owner (presumed). It was a nice experience. Bummer, no restroom.

The owner is super nice, the drinks are amazing. We got a decaf mocha iced - super yum great flavor and a pumpkin spice chai - the pumpkin pie was present for the flavor def a huge hit and will be coming back for more.

I had the best mocha ever in this place! Josh, the owner, is a coffee expert and literally made our afternoon. I was also able to get a great vegan and gluten free bagel. It had been a long time since I was able to get one. Josh's wife also makes some great vegan pastries. I highly recommend you stop by here if you are visiting Cambria!

Came in by chance and was very much pleasantly impressed! Ordered an iced chai latte and it was very delicious. A perfect combination of spice and sweet. Will definitely return to try other items!!! Also, service was excellent!!!

Good coffee and bagels, but it is completely lifeless looking inside now after the owner switch. Beautiful inside mural was painted over with an ugly tan color. No more chess or checkers, I get the visual he is going for but this is beach town cambria not the Midwest.

Reviews of this area might be a bit misleading. It’s a charming beach town that heavily relies on tourists. We checked out a bunch of coffee shops, restaurants, and convenience stores, and while they were all okay, they were all touted as being amazing.
This little place had two rocking chairs and a few board games. It was pretty cozy, but it wasn’t jaw-dropping as some reviews suggest.
