Ate a wonderful meal on their heated patio while I watched a beautiful sunset. I couldn’t ask for more. Friendly and prompt service with a delicious meal.

No dogs
We've been here on multiple Cambria trips and love the outdoor seating with ocean views. Unfortunately the food was lackluster and pricey for the quality.

Just a heads-up: This restaurant is the first that came up when I typed “dog friendly restaurants” into Google Maps, but it is decidedly not dog-friendly. We had been out for a walk on the beautiful boardwalk at Moonstone Beach and wandered for another half an hour, waiting until the restaurant opened at 11. But they told us in no uncertain terms that they have a firm “no pets” policy — despite their large terrace and even a second more casual outdoor seating area in the parking lot. :-( Thankfully the rest of Cambria is super dog-friendly, so our party of six with two pups just drove back into town and had a lovely lunch elsewhere.
Nothing special but fills the need. Would expect fresh seafood, but feel most was frozen. Wide menu variety so should work for most.

The location and atmosphere was lovely. We were surprised that the menu was more of a general restaurant, rather than concentrating on seafood. We had appetizers and wine rather than an entree.
Service worse ever had. They don't want your business. Food is so so. Go somewhere (anywhere) else.

Restaurantji Recommends
We ate dinner here last night and we enjoyed it so much that we went back again tonight for dinner. Our receptionist at the Sand Pebbles Inn recommended it to us. When we arrived we almost left for another restaurant. The exterior looked very ordinary and the interior was dated. But the receptionist was courteous and the sun was setting, so we stayed for dinner.
Our waitress, Juliet, was courteous and helpful. I asked her for guidance on wine and she asked me what I liked. She suggested Opolo Mountain Zinfandel which I never had before. It was delicious with excellent aroma. I had cod tacos.and a side order of pan seared asparagus. I was impressed that both were cooked perfectly, neither the cod nor the asparagus was overcooked as is the case in most restaurants. My wife also enjoyed her salad and clam chowder.
I am celiac and require a gluten free diet. They were able to accommodate me but the choices were limited. The kitchen staff was very efficient and the food came out quite fast..

My husband had the fish and chips and it was so delicious as well as the clam chowder! I had the shoestring onion rings and the fish & pineapple slaw bowl and it was so scrumptious too!
Great little spot in small resort area. High quality food in unpretentious seaside restaurant with good ocean views. Large outdoor patio, as well as indoor seating. Varied menu, that also includes plenty of seafood. Some onsite parking with plenty of additional on the street. Service is attentive, while not being overbearing. Great choice when visiting Hearst Castle or exploring the central coast. Has been a small wait each time we have visited.
