Sandwiches are good and are big enough to be shared. Kind of pricey though. We got 1 Turkey, Avocado and Cheddar cheese sandwich and potato chips, and with a 15% tip it was $20.00. Patio is nice but a little bit tight if a few people are back there. Around 25 people capacity. Seating inside though and in the front for people also. All in all I'd say it was just a little above average, but not anything I'd write home about. Maybe it was because of what we ordered. Maybe their other sandwiches are better.
One of the best hot pastrami sandwiches I’ve ever had. Cute patio out front and back where you can eat in the sun or under shade. Highly recommend.
The California pastrami sandwich was very tasty. This restaurant doesn't disappoint. It's top of the line. The best in town!
Wonderful little sandwich shop in Cambria. Kind of a hidden gem!Based on our daughter's glowing recommendation, we had lunch with her and her boyfriend at The Café on Bridge St. Seating was limited, however we found a nice table behind the restaurant, nestled up against the hill.My wife and I ordered the hot pastrami. It was delicious and filling. I washed it down with a Stella. There are lots of sandwiches to choose from, hot or cold, meatless, etc. Very quaint and homey feel, shared with loved ones. Highly recommended!
What are the 5 star reviews for? No table service, you order at the cash register, which is OK if you're at Subway, but this is supposed to be something else, isn't it? You pay in advance. The business owner running our credit card said "go ahead and tip before you sign, pointing to the device screen that only had two options, 15% or 20%. I replied, "Oh, so someone will service our table when we sit down?" He said "of course you will get service." I only asked because up till that point, we're standing at the counter, holding our drinks and receipt and being pointed to a side door to the dining area out back. After we paid and walked outside to try and find a table, we discovered there is absolutely no service. You, the customer ,are expected to clean and bus your own table. We were duped into paying a tip in advance for nothing, which I'm sure must amuse the owner to no end. We had to clean the table ourselves before we could sit down, so the customers before us needed to be fired. You walk up to a little station to drop off the mess the previous diners leave at your table, and to collect your own plastic utensils and napkins. Nobody is going to ask you if you'd like another drink, or if you need anything. The Buffalo Chicken Salad was inedible, not because it was too spicy, but because it was way too salty. I would have sent it back, but nobody bothered to ask how our food was. What a joke. The ingredients are supermarket quality at best with little finesse in its assembly. If you don't mind being treated like a rube, and you don't mind doing a little side work before and after your meal, this is the place for you!
Best pastrami sandwich ever. I drive here 2 times a year (3 hr drive) and look forward to there sandwiches. What a wonderful find. The pastrami is my favorite. It's tender, juicy and delicious. I've also tried the French dip and Italian. It's all good. A must visit if you are anywhere near this place.
Awesome pastrami sandwich
Top notch sandwich shop with nice outdoor seating. Includes homemade tortilla chips and pickle with sandwich. Many different sandwiches to select from.
I had the Island Burger, which was a great mix of sweet and spicy. My wife had a gluten free tuna sandwich, and the girls had a grilled cheese and a Turkey club. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food, and the outdoor seating was nice, with lots of greenery on the back hill. I would highly recommend and we will definitely return next time we are in Cambria!
Wow. Fresh, ample flavors and servings. Loved it

Chili?relleno?grilled?cheese!!!! Plus I ordered 4 other sandwiches. All were out of this world good! This is now our new place! No need to eat any where else!
It has taken us a few visits to Cambria to make it to the Cafe. Housed in a 1877 historic home, there is ample inside and outside space to sit. We had been advised that the sandwiches were very large, so we ordered one sandwich to split and a cup of soup for each of us. Welcoming and accommodating staff. The BEST hot pastrami sandwich I have ever had. Lean and well smoked pastrami. The soup was out of the ordinary and delicious. Decent brewed ice tea. Very detailed menu, so look it over before going.
Great, enormous sandwiches! The Greek garden burger and beef, blue cheese and mushroom melt were delicious!
