This is our families favorite Italian restaurant. Our daughter was visiting and we ordered the ravioli meatballs, nickname bread to go. It was soooo good and we are Good plan all fighting over the leftovers.

Best restaurant in Cameron Park hands-down it’s the one place I miss after retiring and moving back to Oregon but whenever I come back to visit family, this is the first spot I hit up excellent food. Trust me excellent Italian food..

What a fabulous place! Everything is perfect! We had a great time. The food smells wonderfull and tastes great! The service was quick and there's a good number of selections. The bathroom I used was clean. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very lively. Next time you are going to pass thru Cameron Park, make time to stop by Papa Gianni's Ristoranti! The prices are quite reasonable.

Great food selection. High quality. Reasonable prices. Staff is friendly and very efficient. Note restaurant is often full from 6-7:30 and may require reservations during that time. Otherwise tables usually are available for 4 or less persons.

It was our first time. All I can say is wow. The chicken parm was awesome! And my wife’s Fruitta De Mare with mussels was very flavorful. Bread was very good and both appetizers calamari and sausage with peppers were tasty. Good wine list. And our waitress very kind and attentive. We’ll definitely be back!

Used to be my favorite. Not any more. Chicken parmagiana was bland with bits of grit like sand, the only flavor was in the sauce which was similar to store bought. Penne marinara was on par with canned food. The meatballs compared to what I imagine canned dog food might taste like, just awful. I feel bad saying all this. It was a huge disappointment when compared to what papa G's used to offer. Please bring back standards.

Wow! Been several times before. Always great, but last night was spectacular! 4 of us, all our meals were amazingly good. Got mussels appetizer that were the best we have ever had!We relaxed with our bottle of chianti, then super fast service after we ordered. Very pleasant and attentive waiter; Marcos! We all had loads of left-over take-out for another dinner. All for a very reasonable cost.

Don't let this place fool you. It's top shelf all the way. We had a big party they completely accommodated. The food was excellent by way of the Pizans in the family, and they are a tough to satisfy group. Fun was had by all.
