We visited and waited in a long line to purchase baked goods. The pie was made with shredded apples and dry. The crisp is much better. Tangy and sweet. The walking pie is served with a sauce and ice cream, it needs it for moisture. They should put it in a bowl as the ice cream melts quickly. Not worth the price and wait.
Must visit. The apple pie sells out fast on weekends by late noon. Try the ciders and chill by the farms. Perfect place for a day out or even a afternoon stop when driving back from Lake Tahoe.
What a great Apple Hill farm. Their dutch apple pie and cider were incredibly delish. My new fav spot. There's a huge hill that kids can run on and get their wiggles out! Will need to come back to try their hard cider.
