Ok, I hate having to do this but the people need to know. This places is about as genetically dull of a Korean restaurant that I’ve ever experienced. It would be an insult to Korean airline food to call it airline food but it’s the only way I can accurately describe the taste and experience. First off, the lady running the front is pushy and rude. Both time I had come in she was impatient and pushy. That aside, the dining room is clean and comfortable but almost seems synthetic and Disney like in its execution. The chairs look like wood but are all painted aluminum. The lights are the “warm” LED that gives you a headache if you had to read in it, and the big display menus in front of the kitchen clash with the lights in the room making it glare like twilight. Atmosphere and service aside, the food simply put is generic, like TOO generic. The soups have no heat or body to it with just the faintest taste of Korean chili paste, the japche was soggy and salty which is crazy if you know how the noodles are supposed to feel and taste, the ribs are good but not satisfying to the point of having to run to McDonald’s after a family meal. I went two time on two different days and both times the food was mediocre at best. Heck, the rice for some reason is ALWAYS soggy. By no means is the place “bad” but the food is best described as American hospital or airline in feel which drives me crazy because Korean hospital food is actually delicious (personal experience) and airline food (though not great) is better then this. I ordered both times an appetizer, and two entries, and a soup for my family and both times it came out to be $80+. I’ve eaten in house once and take away and I think that this last time will be the end of our relationship. If you’re looking for something super generic and watered down then this might be the place for you but be warned, if you know real Korean food then this place is gonna feel like a soulless rip off.

Had bibimbap and my wife had tteokbokki and a side of japchae. Everything was really tasty. Food was good enough I felt like I was back in K-TOWN. Hands down the best Korean Restaurant in the SF Valley.

Kalbi was great (tasty and tender) but the side dishes were mediocre including the kimchi.

This place is really a treat when it comes to delicious food options and service here. Been here twice and it’s been great. The food is amazing with the Korean Ramyen and the kimbap I’ve tried. Both amazing dishes and would love to come once again. Thank you.

We we looking for something new in the valley and found this spot. We had such a good dinner at K Food Village the other night. It was one of those meals where everyone at the table was happy with what they got. I ordered the bulgogi, and it was exactly how I like it — tender, full of flavor, and not too sweet. My daughter had the bibimbap and really liked it. My wife went for the short rib soup, which came out bubbling hot and was so comforting, especially after a long day. Our other daughter wasn’t super hungry, so she just had the dumplings… crispy on the outside, juicy inside. She polished off the whole plate.

What really stood out, besides the food, was how welcoming and helpful the staff were. They were kind, checked in on us just enough, and made us feel completely at home. The place was clean, laid-back, and had a nice, relaxed vibe. The side dishes were great too — lots of variety and full of flavor.

It’s just nice to find a spot like this in the Valley where the food’s great, the people are nice, and the whole experience feels easy. We’ll definitely be back.
