First time there for us and it was really delicious. We had the spicy edamame, yellow tail collar, halibut nagiri and Suban Ramen.Everything was delicious, yellowtail collar was huge and grilled not deep fried, halibut was very fresh and my ramen was also tasty!!It is our "go to" sushi place now!

We went to Suban Sushi & Ramen today for our very first time and I must say it was a fantastic experience! My girlfriend and I ordered the Suban Ramen and it was delicious! The broth was so nice and rich, the noodles were the perfect chewiness and the pork in the ramen was outstanding! We also ordered the gyoza, a spicy tuna hand roll, and the salmon belly nigiri and we were not disappointed. The restaurant has a nice layout and you can tell that the owner cares about the appearance and cleanliness. The server and the person behind the sushi bar were inviting and were accommodating. It is safe to say that this won’t be our only time dining at Suban. If you are in the Woodland Hills / Canoga Park area this place is a must visit for quality ramen and sushi!

The ramen that they serve is easily the worst ramen I’ve ever had in my life. I got the Suban and Naruto. The noodles were all congealed, overcooked and flavorless. The chashu pork was thin, dry, fatty, hard, and inedible. The broth didn’t have any flavor. Even my children thought the ramen tasted bad and they’re easy to please.They’re charging way too much for such disgusting food. Suban needs to do better. The Volcano roll fell apart and they put a whole glob of mayo on top. They baked the roll was overcooked. I’ve never had dry and hard spicy tuna on top of a roll before. Just a huge fail all around. My spouse said all the sushi he had was mediocre and not worth it. I don’t believe the high reviews are real. Won’t ever come back.

My husband and I had the pleasure to dine in last night. We are from Glendale but had to make a drive out there and decided to stop here since the reviews were so good and the food or service did not disappoint! We got there about 40 mins before they closed but we were welcomed and not rushed to order or eat. We got 3 rolls and miso soups and it was all tasty! Other than that the service was amazing! We didn't get the name of the lady that served us but she was very nice and attentive. She was also kind to the chef which says a lot in my opinion. She said she was the relative of the owner but by her awesome service we really thought she was the owner. Love this place will come back.
I loved the ramen and the roll would of been great if they were smaller. They were so big, too much imitation crab..the place is so clean. You can smell how clean. It's cute and quaint. The dishes have great presentation and so does the hot tea. Bathrooms are clean. Very happy will be back for the ramen.

I never thought about coming here cause for me Canoga park and sushi don't go together. But it's amazing. The food, the taste , the quality and of course the staff. I didn't even order anything myself, the gentleman taking the orders just started bringing his favorites and recommendations and it was just perfect! I was on a date and we had privacy to talk and do the "date" thing , while making sure we are happy and have orders coming. Prices are great too, I've been to sushi places that charge $86-$130 per roll , when you come to a place like Suban you see it's totally not worth the crazy prices. Ur just paying for the name. Anyways awesome joint!
