I came here for my Birthday Dinner during my stay at the Murrieta Hot Springs, and I was nervous at first (as Italian food is some of my favorite food) but once we walked in and smelled the food in the air I was ready to eat. We were served by Sheri, and she was just a pleasure to speak with. We enjoyed the fried artichoke for an appetizer, indulged upon the lentil soup, and reminisced upon the eggplant parmesan. A friend of mine cooked eggplant parmesan for me a few times in college, and I didn't realize how much I missed it until I ordered it here. It was paired with some ravioli and they complimented each other perfectly, they filled a hole in my soul I didn't know was there. I was very pleased. And to top the meal off we enjoyed a piece of cheesecake, I wished we got two slices after my first bite! I highly recommend it if you're looking for some good food ?“

“We had dinner at Giovanni's last night after the Italian chain restaurant across the street had an hour wait at 7 pm. We were seated right away at a comfortable booth. Almost at once, a friendly server arrived and asked us if we would like to order drinks. Water arrived quickly, shortly followed by a well-priced bottle of Chianti. We split a large dinner salad, and it was fresh and crunchy with a variety of greens, cherry tomatoes and cucumbers, your choice of dressing. My husband and I split a medium Giovani's Special pizza which has all sorts of veggies plus pepperoni AND sausage on it. The crusty was perfectly cooked and the pizza was delicious. My mother ordered the spinach lasagna which was loaded with spinach. My husband helped her finish it and proclaimed it exceptional. This restaurant is an undiscovered neighborhood gem. “First of all The Chicken King is the best Chinese food in Perris. Panda Express and Mr. You Chinese don't even come close. They make it fresh to order. The portions are great as well as the prices. It's a family owned business. I also want to point out 2 fantastic women in that always greet me are Claudia and Mary they are sweethearts. So friendly and helpful. They always have a smile on there faces. They know how to talk and treat the customers. They are true example of what customer service is and should be! Treat them right when you go in. The owner is a true gentleman. The cooks are fantastic as well. Besides great chinese food there pizza and chicken are excellent as well. I have never come across an establishment where all 3 categories; Chinese, Pizza and Fried Chicken are equally fantastic. Usually it's one or the other but not here at The Chicken King.
