This was a horrible experience. We visited today December 2nd at the Capitola tasting room. The server was condescending, rude and ignored my questions. I have been in the wine business for 26 years in Napa and never experienced something like this. Also charging two people for a boring tasting and clueless young woman did not make it for a pleasant afternoon. The wines may be great but the presentation sucked and we ended up by paying a ridiculous fee for the tasting and one bottle. You need to teach your employees about courtesy, and professionalism.

The weekend crew, Senda and Larry are the BEST. Always kind, conversational and very wine savvy. Make it a stop on your Capitola Village itinerary! Lorna & Bob Z.

I have been coming here for 22 years. The wine and the experience is amazing. The facility also has a beautiful deck over looking the Soquel Creek. The hospitality manager Christopher has provided amazing customer service, is extremely knowledgeable on all things wine and always makes you feel welcome. Madelin is really wonderful as well. I highly recommend this amazing tasting room.

We had the best tasting experience today with Madeleine and Tracey! They were so nice and taught us a ton about the origin of each wine and how they differ from others. The wine education was super helpful, and the wines were fabulous, but the service is what really set the experience apart from others. I highly recommend Armida!

We usually frequent Santa Cruz so this was our first time stopping in Capitola, glad we popped in before hitting the beach. Service was great, server was extremely knowledgeable and personable, and wines were delicious. Very nice way to pass an hour in the early afternoon waiting for the heat to turn up.

Nice service, knowledgeable about the wines and local area. Always go here when in town, they've been here for 20+ years!

Had SUCH a nice time talking to Christopher and learning about Armida’s impeccable (and diverse!) wine offerings. From their crisp tropical whites to their substantial reds like Pinot and Zin from different AVAs, there’s truly something for everyone here and their location cannot be beat. I’ll be telling all my friends about how welcome I felt here and the sincere hospitality I received. Easily a top recommendation! ?

As part of our Pacific Coast Highway Experience, we visited some wine tasting spots along the way. I was driving so I left the drinking up to my wife Jan. Parking was at a premium, but we did find a parking spot nearby for $10. This particular winery had a $30 wine tasting fee for 5 wine samples. The sample sizes were generous 1/2 stemware glass samples and came in quick succession. Admittedly a bit too much too fast for Jan, considering that it was still morning, but she enjoyed the atmosphere, ambience and the wines. The wine is made from local grape blends. We decided to buy a bottle of wine. The $30 tasting fee is applied to the purchase. The host was polite and informative about the blends which combined with the sampling, produced a charming experience. Highly reccommended

We stopped in to this while visiting Capitola. We decided to do the tasting which consisted of 5 (very tiny) pours and cost $30. The wines were good but I have never been to a tasting where they just pour the next wine into your used glass!! So tacky. And the "gentleman" doing the pouring was not friendly in the least. We were sorry we did it.

Such a charming tasting tasting room!! You can spend a leisurely afternoon watching capitola paddle board or walk by. Our host was friendly and knowledgeable, he even called us back to let us know my husband had forgotten his wallet! This was a nice place where I could taste wine in my Swimsuit & bring my baby inside!I highly recommend trying and buying a bottle from their "Maple Vineyard" selection, you won't be disappointed!!It's also a good idea to walk over, as parking looked limited.

Great little tasting room! The pourer was incredibly nice and very insightful with the wine biz. It’s a small little shop that can be missed so make sure you keep an eye out for this place!! The wines are relatively cheap and very tasty!!

In Capitola downtown area there is Armida Winery. We enjoyed tasting wine there. They have good Zinfandels.
