Love this cute little homey spot with great food, cheerful service, excellent food and some of the best clam chowder ever. The shrimp salad is so good!! Sautéed shrimp over greens. Their shrimp eggs Benedict is a new fave. Superb Hollandaise!
Best breakfast place in capitola and Santa Cruz area
Awesome friendly service
Delicious skirt steak and eggs
Found this on Google while searching for breakfast places. I wanted to try the southern eggs Benedict, and it didn't disappoint. I was with my family and my dog, and they had a small outside patio so we could enjoy breakfast with our furby. Cute little spot!!!
I've been here a few times with my friends and can confirm the quality, service, and food is consistently great. Quint spot for breakfast/brunch.
Awesome vibes, good food, fast service. Lovely place to get breakfast.
Great breakfast quesadilla
Great carnitas quesadilla
Nice people
Good food good pricing. Very chill. On outskirts of the touristy parts of Capitola so much more homey and quiet. Very family oriented but not like rowdy kids or anything’s
Definitely coming back place is bomb, and quick.

Cute little cafe just across the street from the Capitola Village parking lot. We arrived around 9:45 for a nice breakfast, unpacked our car in the lot and then walked to the beach and spent the day in the sun, breathing in the ocean air. What a perfect day!
I ordered the florentine omelet with hash browns and sourdough toast (not pictured). Lots of crispy bacon and fresh spinach in between the fluffy eggs! My hubby ordered the shrimp and avocado omelet. I asked our waitress what was popular and she said the benedicts, however since I don't care for runny eggs, I opted for the omelet. She informed me that I could order my eggs anyway I wanted to....basically I could ask for almost any modifications and the wonderful cooks could accommodate. ? We loved this place, so until next time!

The Carnitas Eggs Benidict is amazing, and the service was on point. The Avenue Cafe is easily one of my favorite breakfast spots.

The worst food and cafe ever. Chicken fried steak plate was not good. We were in the middle of our food and the server came and brought our check without asking if we would like anything else and she said no rush. The other server came and took our plate which before we were finished and he said can I take it and we were like SURE!!!You feel that they want to get rid of the customer as quick as possible and just get paid. Awful customer service, cheap quality food and cheap and small cafe.
