Best sandwich I've had in a long time. Try the ham chicken pineapple. It will not let you down. I know it sounds different or strange but it is fire. 🔥 🔥

I just had the best egg salad sandwich! The bread was perfectly soft and fresh, and the eggs salad was traditional in the best way. I would highly recommend Chunk's!

I visited Chunks on my lunch break. The workers were very friendly and patient while i combed through the menu. I ordered a Chunk Factory (build your own) Chicken sandwich with veggies and garlic mayo. It was SOOO good. This was my first time trying it and I recommended it to my co workers for an addition to our work lunch spots. The chicken was well seasoned and the garlic mayo was bomb. It was $20 for a sandwich and a soda, which is typical now. Not too expensive but not a cheap spot either. I will definitely be back!

I recently got to visit chunks sandwiches for the first time since they redid the menu, and it does not disappoint. I ordered the turkey bacon and pesto sandwich, the Drayton, and the Reuben, and all three of them were delicious. The bread is soft, and the ingredients are high quality and delicious. The clam chowder is also really solid, and was a great side. The food came out piping hot, and the service was beyond kind. This is my favorite sandwich I’ve had in Santa Cruz, and is my new go to!

Parking: Lots of parking right out front.

Chunks is a quality sandwich in an excellent location. Prices are great, the Ruben is one of the best I’ve ever had with their bread coming from the legendary crows nes, what’s not to love? The pastrami was cooked to perfection, the veggies were fresh the sauces were on point. I’ve had several sandwiches here and haven’t been disappointed. Give Chunks a try!

Parking: Shopping center parking , it’s always got spaces available.

I recently had the pleasure of trying out Chunks Sandwiches, and I must say, it’s an amazing spot! The new owners have truly elevated this place right next door to Magic Nails off Claire's.

The food is absolutely delicious! Each sandwich is crafted with care and full of flavor—definitely a must-try if you’re in the area.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a perfect place to enjoy your meal. What truly stands out, however, is the service. The owners are super nice and genuinely care about their customers, which adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience.

If you haven’t stopped by yet, I highly recommend giving them a chance. You won’t be disappointed! 🍽️❤️

The Drayton was absolutely delicious. I never stray from my typical ham & cheese sandwich but the Drayton had so many delicious looking flavors I had to give it a go. Highly recommend.

This place is ruined since Chunk’s took over. No combos, $7 for fries. Almost $30 for a meal. They made the sandwiches smaller with lower quality. Bad business. Incredibly over-priced. Not eating here again. They ruined the cheesesteak shop.

Under the new management, this once wonderful sandwhich shop has lost its allure.

Previously I would have said it was worth a trip to Santa Cruz for a Robbies Sanwhich alone. Now, I say skip "Chunks Sandwhiches" entirely.

My first time in Santa Cruz. I live in SF so maybe food like this is normal in Santa Cruz or maybe my standards are too high.

Food was edible and not repulsive. Got a meatball sandwich. However they somehow managed to remove the flavor out of every ingredient. There were whole cloves of garlic that tasted like nothing. I’m not sure how this is possible.

Apparently all the good reviews are from before an ownership change a month ago. The menu seems to be much smaller now.

Also ridiculous pricing for messing up something a child could easily put together at home.
