San Marcos Charquito Tacos y Tortas

San Marcos is the best Mexican spot in Santa Cruz. They make their own tortillas, corn and flour. It’s absolutely delicious every single time.

Perfect place to eat. Quiet. Found a table immediately. I had the Manolo's Torta. Delicious. See the photo. My daughter chose the Carne Asada burrito. She said it was delicious. Tortillas are homemade. The place is small but very inviting. Service and food are awesome. The place is around the corner from Gayle's Bakery and Rosticceria.

Great authentic Mexican food and the salsa is the best around. The outdoor patio is a nice place to eat.
They only accepted cash the last time I was there.

$23 for 3 Tacos and a soda. The shrimp taco was great, but is $7. The carnitas was decent and the pastor was dry and underwhelming.

The online menu is not the same going in person, favor less food, I cook better Mexican food at home and the service was terrible on top of wasting money on food there.

Food tastes great, and the place is lovely,but the ratio of the food is small, I will not mind paying more, but the torta needs more meat in it.

Had the tacos: fish, shrimp, and al pastor. All are served on homemade tortillas, made fresh daily, al pastor on a red tortilla, the seafood on green tortillas. Absolute perfection! My favorite is the shrimp: bathed in a spicy, smoky sauce, is unlike any shrimp taco I've ever had and absolutely incredible! Super kind, friendly service! Lovely patio seating. You must eat here!!!
