Excellent dinner – Creative dishes with outstanding flavors and top-notch service made for a memorable experience. However, the acoustics in the room created a high level of noise, making conversation challenging. Improved sound dampening would greatly enhance the overall ambiance.

when it comes down to it, trestle is my favorite restaurant in Santa Cruz. sure some nights service could be a little off. food might be a little off but if you want perfection go to that

laundromat in Napa.

for the atmosphere. the general friendliness and quite frankly the amazing food it is. in my opinion the best there are many that are close but the whole scene is my idea of ideal .

I usually don’t write positive reviews (keep em to myself), but this place surely deserves it. The atmosphere, service and, most importantly, food were very good. Fish and chicken were cooked to perfection; in fact it’s the first place where the fish were not dry. The sauces emphasized every dish, and you can definitely tell that they did cook everything themselves and did not use prefabs (at least it feels that way).
