Food is absolutely delicious!!
Had a wonderful experience at Cicciotti’s Trattoria Italiana. The Piccata di Pollo was absolutely delicious, and the cozy atmosphere made for a great evening. The live singers and piano music added a special touch. Great food, great ambiance, and I look forward to coming back!

Pretty good, but not really worth the price tag. Arnold Palmer was a joke, bruschetta didn’t seem fresh.
Chicken saltimbocca was great

We love this area and wanted to try a new place so we booked a dinner reservation here. My husband, two kids and I were seated as soon as we arrived (at our reservation time) and then greeted by a server; he was polite but seemed distracted. We didn’t feel like we had his full attention - he took our drink order and we also ordered an appetizer to share. The server never brought or offered us bread but we noticed the tables around us received bread right away. The kids menu only offered pizza or a simple spaghetti pasta. We ordered two kids pizzas plus two kids drinks for close to $20 each. My husband and I had to wait quite a while for our pasta entrees that we ordered and we were never offered refills on drinks. We had waters and a glass of wine. Unfortunately our server did not come by our table to check on us - instead he waited until we finished our meal and then asked if we wanted dessert. We said no thank you and asked for to go boxes for the kids pizzas. We had to wait several minutes more for him to bring us the check. When we saw the total we were a bit stunned. Two kids meals, two entrees, one appetizer and two glasses of wine for $150. Service could be better, food was decent (but not the best - we love Italian and have tried several other restaurants). Not so great service, decent food but overly priced - we won’t be coming back here. Love the location but food and service needs to match the prices.

Lasagna wasn’t fresh, like a brick. I needed to cut it like a steak, when you should be able to cut with a fork. Very Dry.
Marinara sauce was too sweet, absent of garlic, onions, and especially basil.
Extra Cheese was not real - freshly grated processed cheese.
I expected, for their prices more freshness and better tasting Italian Food.

Great stuff, great quality, and you get what you pay for. We bought a Tiramisu to share, I was surprised it was $10.00, but it was quite good.

Service was FANTASTIC. The drinks were noticeably watered down. The pasta was sticky and not up to par. The flavor of the chicken was good, however it was chewy. I have been here before and something clearly has changed for the worse . Sure seems like they were taking shortcuts.
I was disappointed but wife liked her food. Service wasn't great.

Lately we’ve been celebrating family birthdays here. The food is always tasty and fresh-beautiful views and it’s never too crowded. I’ve changed where I eat in Encinitas as lately restaurants seem to really pack people in and I don’t find that pleasant.
