Based on recent reviews, Casero Taqueria offers spectacular authentic food with fresh ingredients and excellent, polite service. The atmosphere is great, with a relaxing patio and a welcoming environment under new ownership. The menu has lots of choices, including signature tacos made with hand made tortillas, such as birria tacos, surf and turf tacos, grilled shrimp tacos, a rich and flaky bear battered fish taco, and highly recommended veggie tacos filled with roasted vegetables and black beans with pickled red onions. Other menu items include ceviche, esquites, guacamole and chips, flan, and churros. The chips and salsa are absolutely delicious, and the cocktails are amazing, including the favorite Casero Magaarita, an outstanding mezcal margarita, the skinny margarita “la flaka”, and a spicy pineapple drink. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always goes above and beyond. This place has great atmosphere, a full bar with a good beer selection, and fast service. Highly recommended.
