Great fast Mexican food. Carne asada buritto. Super nachos....Order the 1/2 order unless you are very hungry. Fish burrito. Menudo. Great chipotle salsa. ***Update August 2026...still one of the best carne asada burritos in Carlsbad.
The food here is often good, but sometimes not. It depends on who’s cooking. There’s no real “atmosphere” to speak of—it’s a hole in the wall, and that’s fine. My main gripe is that the middle aged woman with the pony tail is just an absolutely nasty person. She’s costing the place money because she’s so abrasive and nasty that I refuse to eat here anymore. There are *so* many other great choices in the shopping center.
