Visited for a quick bite with very hungry munchkins. We got picnic baskets for the kids. All of us absolutely loved the food, the quality of service and the speed. Also very fair pricing! One of the best deli experiences ever. Thank you!Kid-friendliness: The little picnic baskets are absolutely perfect for children. They loved carrying their picnic boxes just like grown-ups!

Great group of people running this hole in the wall deli. Great food and good prices. Only downside is that there's no seating inside. It's also right next to the post office, so there's only 10 minute parking anywhere nearby. As long as you know you're coming to grab and go then this is the place to go to.

Walked in here and took a few minutes to decide what me and my husband would like to eat. The employee who took care of us was patient and friendly. Sandwiches and pesto pasta were pretty good so we decided to go back the next day while we were still there vacationing in Carmel.

Visited this spot after a hike. The shop was filled with customers, yet each staff member remained calm, patient, and efficient. I was impressed by the guy taking my order. He gave excellent suggestions and answered my questions. I noticed the cashier went above and beyond. If a customer didn't pick up their order when called I saw him go out to the person and hand it directly to them. He even chased down another customer when they forgot to grab the rest of their order!Food was exactly what I needed. Fresh fruit, broccoli salad, samosas, cold beverages and more. They even carried the family size chips. Perfect spot to eat solo or if with groups!Def would come back here when I visit the area!

Excellent Deli with great prices! My good friend and I were only visiting for a quick trip and we found this gem. Very friendly staff. They had gluten free bread-BIG YAY, realllllly good homemade gluten free brownie, fresh sandwich pesto, and my girl got the chicken stuffed bread that she said was the best she had ever had! They also had a salad bar that we didn't have, but will try eventually. We will definitely be coming back every time we're in town.

What a great find! Sandwiches are delicious. Grab them along with other goodies or wine and walk a few steps to the picnic tables at the little park. Delightful way to experience Carmel especially if you are looking for something more casual and not sit down. Service was very friendly! We will be returning.

Tiny place. Utterly charming. Having lived in nyc and other places, I am not rating the food by those standards. But, for being in Monterey, this place is quite the gem. Next time we visit there's a great chance we'll stop by again.

Awesome little deli with very good customer service, tried to eat at another deli around the corner at Nielsen bros. Market and was put off by rude male clerk that wouldn't help. These people are so amazing and super helpful and polite. The best thing is they are family owned!! You won't be disappointed, best deli sandwiches in town!

We been there numerous times and we always gave them generous tip, and so we came in yesterday at 4.28 pm on a Friday they told us they already closed but on their wedsite it said 5pm. Today we came in and bought food, as we walk out we need a cup for the drink we bought with food as they sell the drink by bottle and we need a cup for that, they stopped us and charge 2.50 usd for a paper empty cup. This is not the way to treat loyal customer

Such a frustrating experience with this business. We chose them to cater our small wedding of fourteen.We called ahead several times in the coming weeks to make sure we could place an order in advance for it. Got the confirmation from the woman on the phone and she confirmed that our order was in place and that we can pay on the day of.Again, we called several times to make sure it was confirmed and they said it will be ready at 10AM the day of the wedding. We tried to email about the order but their email address did not work and the emails were always rejected when we tried to send. We checked over and over to make sure it matched, which it did. This is why we called a few times, just to be certain we had everything in order.On the day of the wedding, my wife goes to pick up the order at 10:00AM. They say they do not have the order. My wife says she confirmed over the phone and the woman was rude to her and asked if she emailed. My wife tried to explain that the email they provided did not work, but the woman cut her off, saying, "well we didn't get it then." Super rude, super unprofessional. My wife insists that we called and confirmed. The woman goes to the back and shortly returns to ask if it was under our name, to which we say YES. They said they will start the order.So, to recap, the business was rude to us, unprofessional, would not let us explain the situation, and it turns out they had the order all along! This set back our wedding significantly and was such a frustrating experience. I'm glad the food was good at least, but at what cost?Cannot recommend this business at all. They are not timely, nor are they organized, nor are they friendly. Very disappointed, as it started off our wedding day on the wrong foot entirely.

Found this as we were driving by. Great selection of sandwiches. To my surprise they had Chile and have to say it was the best ever! Wish I had gotten the large container. Definitely will Come back when we visit Carmel in the fall.
