We enjoyed cocktails and wine at Bud’s during our stay at LaPlaya last weekend!
The La Playa is a comfortably spectacular property in a zenfully spectacular location, overlooking Carmel Bay just above Carmel Beach. Bud's is the hotel bar: old school and debonair. It's got one toe in today and the other nine in a glorious yesteryear.
Key tip: Remember dimes? Skinny coins worth 10 cents. Those. Yeah, I don't carry coins anymore either, let alone dimes. But, I do to Bud's. Come packing a roll of ten - one thin dollar's worth - and you'll be the most popular...read full review
