Love the atmosphere here for a nice romantic dinner. Fabulous ocean view tables and superb dinner —halibut & risotto for me, lamb for him. Frederic always finds us an extra yummy bottle of wine and provides excellent service; Thank you!
Started with the clam chowder which was very good - exactly what you want in a New England chowder thick and rich. Artichokes next which were a nice mid- course. Then the mussels which were a disappointment. Very small mussels in a sauce with too much white wine that made it not rich enough but acidic. Cheesecake for dessert a nice ending. Wine suggestion by Frederic the server was great.
We had a wonderful dinner with Rosemary as our server. Bar service was slow and my Angry Bee cocktail was not as described. However, my Husband's Sous Vide Old Fashioned was amazing and Rosemary made the exchange quickly. The Seeded Caesar Salad was delicious as were the Mussels appetizer and the Risotto with Sea Scallops. Our desserts, Triple Chocolate Mousse and Crème Brûlée with Berries, paired with a glass of port were the perfect finish to our meal.
