the mole is delicious, one of the best I have had. It would be great for them to do a "sizzling" plate of something
We ordered prosecco and an appetizer to share. The waitress brought the 2 bottles of prosecco and 2 glasses and walked away! She put them on the table without opening the bottles or pouring the prosecco into the glasses. When she brought the appetizer we asked her to open the bottles because neither of us were physically able to open them. After she left we realized we were not given plates. The food was fresh and tasty and the service was prompt and courteous. I had the baby back ribs (a Monday night only proposition) and my wife had the chicken and wild mushroom enchiladas. Both dishes were very good

Cantina in Carmel is a cozy spot with friendly and helpful staff. They offer good vegetarian options and delicious dishes like fungi pizza, pesto pasta, and margarita pizza. The tiramisu is a rustic version served in a cup, which some might find too sweet. The cocktails and coffee are decent. With soft focaccia bread and a great atmosphere, Cantina is worth a visit if you're in the area.
