Lisa plans to only serve eight people every day, no more or no less. Their menu changes for every season. Their salads or soups, soufflé's main course and dessert are outstanding. More importantly, you realize how these two people, Lisa and her dear friend, the chef, work so beautifully together and do everything from buying the groceries,setting the table, making reservations, preparing the food and doing dishes.. “What another extraordinary evening at Seventh and Delores Steakhouse. We were treated so specially by our waiter Oscar and his assistant. And the restaurants owner/ general manager was one of the most congenial and welcoming I’ve met in Carmel. It was my birthday and after a perfect steak dinner, cocktails and wine—Oscar, his assistant and the GM surprised me with a cheesecake with two mini Roman candle-like sparklers. They all sang happy birthday —only a little embarrassing but kind- and the whole restaurant sang and clapped afterwards. What an evening, but then again, birthday or not—every evening at 7th and Delores Steakhouse is. Thank you Oscar, to the Owner/parter and Oscar’s assistant. A night to remember.“

“We had very nice anniversary dinner at Stationaery. We sat outside, since we still do not feel comfortable for an indoor seating due to pandemic. The evening was cool, but heating lamps made it comfortable for longer and leisure meal. Both food and service were excellent. We highly recommend this friendly restaurant and will be back for sure🤩“

“We recently visited Carmel and were craving Italian food, so we decided to try Allegro Pizzeria since it was conveniently close to our hotel—and we’re so glad we did! This charming local spot has a warm, low-key, inviting atmosphere that immediately made us feel comfortable. You can tell it’s a favorite among locals, not just tourists, which is always a great sign.
The restaurant was very clean, neat, and welcoming, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Our waiter, Evan, took wonderful care of us—friendly, attentive, and prompt without making us feel rushed.
As for the food—delicious! We started with the calamari appetizer, which was perfectly cooked and flavorful. I enjoyed the lasagna, rich and comforting with classic Italian flavor. The shrimp and scallop pasta in a butter and wine sauce was absolutely wonderful—fresh seafood and a beautifully balanced sauce. Our son loved his pizza, which was fun, cheesy, and hit the spot. We also appreciated the soup, salad, and fresh bread that rounded out the meal.
Parking was plentiful, though we loved that it was an easy walk from our hotel. If you’re visiting Carmel and looking for a casual, delicious Italian restaurant with great service, Allegro Pizzeria is definitely worth a visit!“
