Cute place that we happened to find in Carmel when in town. We walked in and saw all the photos and were greeted by super nice people and decided to try. Wow, the quality of sushi and portions were really generous and good. We got 2 rolls and a sashimi platter, and it was plenty of food. The sashimi was fresh and really good fish. The rolls were delicious and well made, plus big portions. Def happy with out meal, it was great. Would recommend
Exceptional service - not my favorite quality of fish. Some felt off in texture and smell. Kuddos to the lovely staff, but I left wishing for a more premium experience at this price.
For the most part fresh, descent sushi for this area. Service is good and the space is cozy and warm…but it boggles my mind that good sushi can’t come with good miso soup—so expensive for a tiny portion and absolutely no taste whatsoever—watery, one piece of seaweed, no scallions, nothing—I’ve never had such bad miso in my life.
