The taste is good. In the cold weather, eating ramen is nirvana. The service is lovely. Sitting outside with a heater is super satisfying.

Food was good and the service was not bad.
It's a small place but the staff is very friendly. The sashimi was very fresh! ?I would come back again.

Love the food we go all the way to Carmel to eat there
The staff was friendly, and we were able to get seated and served quickly. The outdoor tables had heaters which kept us warm. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The chef's choice sashimi was ok but was plated on a tiny plate so it just looked like a mound of fish. The chirashi had very undercooked sushi rice, which is supposed to be a staple for a sushi restaurant. We left very disappointed given the fancy area and high prices.

What a great meal, we had Yellowtail, Salmon sashimi with caviar and rolls filled with avocado and tuna. The wine and the Sapporo black really refreshed us during this lovely Saturday afternoon. Service was great and the people around us were all so kind and full of happiness. We absolutely will be back and this is one of our favorite spots when in Carmel by the sea.

Service was great, but the sushi was very low quality and poorly prepared. Cuts were extremely thick. One of those places that survives on speciality rolls covered in mayo.

I made comments in the reservation that we're celebrating my wife's birthday. No mention by the host or the server. Only after my 2nd mention at the table was it picked up. When you pay $250 I expect better than the most basic wooden chopsticks wrapped in paper. I ordered Chef's choice sashimi and it was dropped without explanation. I had to flag down the server for explanation. Finished plates stayed on the table way too long. Again, it was fine but with the prices rides an expectation to do better with details.

Unique experience... the girl at the reception immediately made us feel at ease. The sushi was delicious, very unique and well integrated flavors.
A restaurant that will remain in our hearts!

Mediocre I’d pass, my waitress was also kind of rude and passive aggressive when I mentioned I was hard of hearing for some reason, there’s better I’d skip. Sushi cuts weren’t even good.
Great sushi and experience. The place is small, but we were able to walk in due to some luck with folks leaving the counter. I’d recommend a reservation. The rolls are very good, as are the apps.

Was very excited to try this place based on the reviews but was very disappointed. The highlight of the meal was the edamame, I believe that statement explains itself

Restrooms are dirty and need to be serviced and maintained. I let you the staff know and they said there was no one to clean the bathrooms. Messed up our order.
