I came here for a last minute dinner and was delightfully surprised by the prompt service. The food is delicious, and the king salmon is ah-mazing! It’s well suaved with a crispy cover. The steak is surprisingly tender too. One bummer is the bread - I wish the bread is softer. Overall, I enjoyed the meal a ton and came back for lunch the next day (again). The salmon didn’t disappoint!

My wife and I had an incredible meal. Wonderful service, lovely location, great food. My wife had the king salmon and it was superb. I had the Angus prime filet and it was a perfect piece of meat, perfectly cooked. We also had the Dungeness crab cake and a nice caesar salad. We also had cremé brulee for desert with some delicious port wine.I'm knocking them down one star only because it irks me to be charged $10 for bread at the table when we spent $150 per person for the meal.

The February chef's tasting menu featuring the pear was a pure delight. The wine pairings were exceptional highlighting the various dishes and different types of pear. The menu capped off with a delicious pear upside down cake and creamy ice cream. The service was incredible and we were sent on our way with a wonderful slice of chocolate and sponge toffee cake decadence that we enjoyed for breakfast the next day!

Everythng we ordered was outstanding! From the butternut squash ravioli to the grilled artichoke appetizer to the Matket Fish special (grilled diver scallops) to the chocolate s'more campfire dessert. Amazing!

Great selection from beef to fish, evening specials-amazing!! We had the King Salmon, which was cooked to perfection, and double cut pork chop which was incredible. Service is always top notch.

We had an amazing experience at Lucia! The food was delicious but the wine was to die for! We were able to visit the cellar and we were wowed by their superb selection! We were at the patio and it was perfect ambiance to be cozy under the heaters while listening to an incredible rain outside. Definitely will come back and maybe even stay at the resort! ☺️

Amazing place. Service is top notch, food is super delicious on the level of Michelin star, cozy atmosphere and great vibe of Carmel valley. somewhat pricey but in my opinion worth it.We got ahi tuna for appetiser, salmon, butternut squash ravioli for main dishes and both were amazing. For desert we got fig cheesecake with pistachios and it was mind blowing. Nice wine selection and some draft beers. very special place!

My husband and I spent the weekend at Bernadus and we had an incredible dinner at Lucia, their restaurant. The service, ambience, and especially the food were amazing. Beyond every expectation. I was highly impressed by the artistry of the dinner, taste, and quality. Five stars all around!

Exceptional exceptional. Service from arrival to end was outstanding. Warm and friendly. A welcoming and subtle elegance. Luis and Francisco were amazing. The tasting menu was superb. Each course of the citrus theme was well planned, executed and served. The arugula, endive cara cara oranges, burrata cheese and kumquats with a citrus vinaigrette was delicious with the wine flight selections. Seared ahi tuna over crispy rice was perfect. The body and texture were outstanding. Seared duck with citrus reduction on barley and Swiss chard was tender and flavorful. Dessert was great. Best pre fixe we had in years.

All around an excellent experience .. The service was top notch . We sat in the bar area for brunch and had the Seabass and some excellent wine while we listen to the live music they had the fireplace going. It was just so warm inviting and elegant. Such a great experience can't wait to return you won't be disappointed.

Disappointing! Service was subpar - for a $500+ meal we'd expect better service. For example, at one point my husband poured wine for the table, Crab cakes and scallops were too salty. Just not great. The most attentive and professional person was the kind valet who parked our car.

We made reservations a month in advance for the New Year's Eve dinner event. The reservation was confirmed via email at the time of placing it. It was confirmed via a phone call from the location two days before and avia automated text the day before. When we called with a specific question the day of, we were told the reservation was cancelled with no notice. After several phone calls we were told "they would accept us" at the original reservation time. When we arrived we waited an additional 30 minutes before the table was actually ready. When we finally got our food it was mediocre/standard at best. The only redeeming quality was the service staff who were great and their party favors and energy celebrating the new year. All in all was not worth the trouble it took and if it hadn't been last minute on new Year's Eve we wouldn't have fought so hard for this experience.

The service was lovely, Henry went out of his way to be terrific. The low rating is because the “tapenade” on top of the fish main contained an entire olive pit, which caused me to painfully crack my tooth. I informed the staff and they seemed very unperturbed and awkwardly asked to take the olive pit. I assumed they wanted to take the olive pit as proof it was in the tapenade to show the kitchen staff, but no one ever came back to acknowledge the big mistake. Feels like a pretty alarming thing in a luxury hotel to not (at the very least) comp the dish with the olive pit, let alone come over to apologize for serving a meal that chipped my tooth. They just completely swept it under the rug. This was totally a mistake on their behalf and the lack of acknowledgement and accountability was shocking. I would definitely give your meal a thorough inspection before risk taking a bite, unless you don’t mind spending hours at the dentist and spending hundreds on a medical bill.
