We did their Rosé Experience which runs May-June and it was exceptional. Delicious pairings with each glass of wine and such friendly staff.
After a very disappointing experience at another winery nearby, Pelio Estate Wines completely saved our Mother’s Day.
From the very beginning, everything felt warm and welcoming. The hostess greeted us immediately with a complimentary splash of rosé and walked us to our table right away (no waiting, no confusion, just genuine hospitality).

Pelio Estate in Carmel Valley offers a first-class tasting room with an incredible ambiance, often described as having major RH vibes. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring a wonderful experience whether seated inside or outside among the olive trees. Known for its lovely pinots and rosé, the female-owned vineyard also offers delicious BYO charcuterie baskets, perfect for sharing. The tasting room features friendly service and a beautiful, spacious, minimalist design with muted colors, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy a regular or premium tasting, which includes three pours—rose, white, and red—along with a picnic basket full of snacks like hummus, deli meats, cheeses, and crackers. The vineyard also offers candles made from recycled wine bottles with a lovely French Oak scent, adding to the charming experience. Pelio is a popular spot for groups, members, and visitors, often hosting creative parties with themes, music, and new wines. It’s considered a star among tasting rooms in Carmel Valley.
