A newish tasting room space for one of Santa Lucia Highlands pioneer grape growing families. Kristen McIntyre, daughter of the founder, runs the tasting room and has created a very lovely patio space for outdoor wine tasting in Carmel Valley. The umbrellas, pergola and oak tree offer nice shade. They are very dog friendly, and the wines are delicious. This was my first winery in the Carmel Valley and it did not disappoint. Some super fun expressions of Burgundian varietals but much to my surprise they also had very nice Bourdeaux bottlings. The staff was super friendly and informative. Would definitely recommend
The staff are amazing and personable. The wines, lovely, im a Rosé gal, my husband Chardonnay and Cabernet guy. Wonderful selection of wines!

McIntyre Family Wines Tasting Room offers a newish indoor tasting room and a lovely outdoor patio that is perfect on a sunny afternoon or evening. The umbrellas, pergola and oak tree give nice shade and the space is very dog friendly. Staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and informative, and they often stop by each table to thank guests for choosing McIntyre. The wine list has plenty variety of Monterey wines to explore, from Chardonnay and rose to Pinot Noir, 3 Clone Pinot Noir and Per Ardua. There are also super fun expressions of Burgundian varietals and very nice Bourdeaux bottlings. The solid wine is always delicious and the tasty charcuterie boxes add a nice. Visitors can order a glass of the Per Ardua and enjoy the solid wine and friendly service. The space is fantastic, the staff is ready to share experiences and recommend what best goes with each wine. Highly recommend for a pleasant tasting experience.
