We did order take out and we have always enjoyed this place. We ordered tonight and there was a bit of a hiccup, but it was corrected immediately with smiles from the staff. If you haven’t eaten here before I highly recommend. Amazing staff and awesome food!!!!!

I love both express sushi and Teriyaki locations. They bring a home family feel with great food and service.

Jimmy did a fantastic job curating the menu. All of the rolls and nigiri are top quality. Wait time was minimal. Lexi was a very attentive server while the owner made sure to come table side to meet and greet and ask about the overall experience. Another Carmichael hidden gem!

This spot is seriously one of my and my family’s favorites. The sushi is super fresh, the teriyaki is always on point, and the prices are really affordable. You get a lot of food for what you pay, and it always tastes great.

The service is honestly amazing!!! All the staff are super friendly and fast. Whether you're eating in or picking up, they always make you feel welcome.

We’ve also done many large parties from birthdays to graduations and every time have been pleased and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere.

If you’re looking for a solid sushi and teriyaki place that won’t disappoint, this is it. I highly recommend them👌🏻.

5 stars! Express Sushi & Teriyaki in Carmichael absolutely blew me away. I started with the Thai Chicken Noodle, and it was incredible—perfectly cooked noodles, tender chicken, and just the right kick of spice. Then I had the Thai Chicken Salad, which was fresh, flavorful, and packed with great texture. The dressing tied everything together perfectly.

I also tried a couple of sushi rolls, including the Gor Roll, and each bite was fresh and beautifully made. The fish was high quality, and the presentation was spot on. You can tell they care about what they serve.

What made the experience even better was the amazing customer service—everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. The whole vibe was relaxed but professional, and I felt genuinely cared for.

If you’re craving sushi, noodles, or a solid Thai-inspired dish, this place delivers on all fronts. Highly recommend and definitely coming back!

I had an awesome experience at Express Sushi & Teriyaki! The rolls were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We tried the Housewife Roll and the Zig Zag Hand Roll—both were delicious and packed with flavor. Their bento boxes are also a great deal and super filling. The service was quick and friendly, and the vibe was laid back, perfect for a casual night out. Definitely a go-to spot for sushi in Carmichael and now new in Rancho Cordova!

Everything was very tasty, delivery was fast and convenient. The only thing I would like to see is photos of all the dishes on the website. It's hard to choose a dish from the description, you want to see what you ordered. But thank you for the delicious food.
