The best, BEST chicken enchiladas! We came in from out of town and my brother and sister in law love it. Fantastic service, good drinks, great chips and salsa. Wish we lived closer. It was excellent!
I grew up in the S.F Mission District and I know that Mexican Food does NOT have to be spicy to be tasty. We came her for dinner and I explained my aversion to spicy AND how cilantro tastes like soap to me. I got a wonderful plate of carnitas with yummy beans and rice with pico (no cilantro) on the side. You mix your own guacamole so, you get to determine salt and onions and (get this!) cilantro. My BF ordered the short ribs and really enjoyed them. We will be back again and again...
My husband and I found Mesa Mercado soon after it opened. We fell in love! Our son and daughter-in-law have enjoyed it and our daughter from Colorado finally went last night. I thought I had hyped it up too much telling her about it so often, but now she is also a fan! We have never had a bad meal there! The food is truly amazing!
