Owners are friendly, down to earth genuine people. The setting is fantastic to meet people and drink good beer as you wave at the travelers on the occasional Pacific Surfliner going by. I highly recommend it. Stop by on late weekend afternoons and listen to good music.

Cute little place with good draft beer at a good price, clean bathrooms, and food truck on the back patio. The staff was very friendly, and the environment was very happy as children and dogs were allowed on-site. They offer various artists for live music outside. Nice location near the train tracks and train station public parking in Carpinteria.

Island is an OG in the micro brew game. Been around for 20+ years and it shows in their product. Always solid brews and good vibes. Beach views and the Pacific Surfliner keeps things fun and interesting.

Worst service I’ve experienced at a bar. They refused to serve me a drink because they closed the register but continued serving others drinks for another hour. Locals told he nobody liked the short bartender with curly long hair. He must have been picked in as a kid. Ugly bartenders with bad attitudes. Beers are 7 and some Change. DJ Music was terrible. Never going back.
