Esau’s is a quaint little diner in Carpinteria near the beach. There is free public parking about a block away. We ate outside on their tables beside the restaurant and it was very pleasant. They serve breakfast and lunch. My sister and I tried it out today. We chose the trio tip burrito and the Monte Cristo sandwich done French toast style. The waitress was very sweet. We had French toast and steel-cut oatmeal, both were great. The orange juice was great too. The waitress was kind and attentive.
