This restaurant is in the Best Western hotel where we're staying and was a convenient way to start the day. The prices were reasonable and the food was delicious. Nothing particularly outstanding but it was much nicer than we were expecting for a Best Western. Everything was cooked just right with plenty of flavor. Be sure to try the house ketchup, it has a special tasty tanginess. The restaurant itself is cozy and clean with a nice rustic design.

recently stayed at the BW in Carpinteria for a few nights. The first morning we enjoyed breakfast at the Sunset Grille. Staff all pleasant. Dining room nice and relaxing. Breakfast perfect. Had poached eggs with bacon and toast.Feel bad that there are so many bad reviews. We enjoyed it. Staff have to work so hard these days to make ends meet.
