recently stayed at the BW in Carpinteria for a few nights. The first morning we enjoyed breakfast at the Sunset Grille. Staff all pleasant. Dining room nice and relaxing. Breakfast perfect. Had poached eggs with bacon and toast.Feel bad that there are so many bad reviews. We enjoyed it. Staff have to work so hard these days to make ends meet.
this was a 3 night stay due to major tree trimming crew in our back yard. I had the breakfast sandwich from the Sunset Grill in-room service. Hot, tasty and Delivery was quick and kindly brought to my room.

We were too tired to go out after a delayed flight, so it was nice having a restaurant onsite. Standard American fare with limited vegetarian options (quesadilla, salad, mozzarella sticks). My dad had the cheese quesadilla (basic if not sad looking), my mom had the garden salad with Italian dressing, and I went with the chicken tenders — which were the surprise standout.
