We stopped for lunch while driving up the coast. The tacos and burrito were served hot and were super tasty. The crispy tacos are not the hard corn shell you might expect. They were much better. The service was super friendly and helpful. The place was very clean. I would definitely stop here again. Just be sure to bring cash.

The best crunchy tacos 🌮 ever the meat is perfect , quesadillas are really good, they only take cash 💸 restroom available, only few tablets are available but It has never been crowded.. They closed at 7,15 pm I wish they close like an hour later. But this is the place we'll go eat when we are in the area

I got the crispy Asada Tacos, and they are trash, and they are Unseasoned, And the Salsa was Bland too, and the service was rushed. And how do you give me a taco with just lettuce on it? Some of us like to actially taste food when we eat it. And the Horchata wasn't made from scratch it was obviously Horchata mix and water. Never again. Not for 20+dollars.

Taqueria Rincon Alteno was recommended to me by someone that lives here in Carp. Decided to give it a shot since we hadn’t found any real good Mexican food here yet. This place hit the spot. We got crispy chicken tacos and a Carne burrito which were both decent. The Serrano salsa as super hot and tastes Devine! The only (modest complaint) is that the tacos were a bit soggy after getting them home but they were still great! I’d almost say, the best Mexican food in Carpinteria.
