Solid spot for grub. Had the combo fried rice and beef w/broccoli. Both were tasty but overpriced for the portion size.
Place was spotless and mostly empty, prob because it was past lunch hour (3:20). Service was courteous and my order was taken quickly. Food was brought out hot.
I LOVE this place! I've been coming here for years, and while every dish is excellent, I always get their egg drop soup. Simple and perfectly flavorful. Plus, I can't say enough nice things about everyone here. So nice & friendly - and they always remember me. That personal touch makes a difference.
Great food and Wonderful staff !!
A surprise great find. Delicious food, generous portions at a fair price. Excellent service and broad menu selections including a lunch special menu
The service was great, everyone was nice and friendly. But the food was a real disappointment. The rice was lumpy/dense and the general Tso’s chicken was over fried with not a lot of spice. The Mapo tofu was not spicy at all for being a Szechuan dish and the pork in it reminded me of the rehydrated meat you get in cup of ramen noodles but a little better. Food was tasty but was just missing the mark in a few areas.
Uncle Chen's restaurant was delicious!! Our whole family enjoyed it from the cheese wontons to the chow mein! The staff was friendly and kind!
One of the best Chinese restaurants in the area as a vegan. They have many items on the menu that are vegetarian/vegan and the quality and flavor is always consistent and the people are so nice here! I recommend the vegan orange chicken, hangover noodles, and dry sautéed string beans.
I have nothing but great things to say about Uncle Chens. The food is great and there are a lot of vegetarian options. The staff is more than amazing every time I’m there. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone! They even lent my daughter a book to read and bring back next time we’re in. Great service!
Some of the best Chinese food I've ever had. Really fresh and homemade. Their miso soup was amazing (generous portions too).

I've been coming to this restaurant since I was little and it's always been a favorite! Everyone is very kind and welcoming and the food is absolutely amazing! I highly recommend it.
Dietary restrictions: They accommodated my mother's food allergies very well and were very careful.
Parking: There's plenty of space close by the restaurant that are fairly easy to get in and out of.

Food was very disappointing. Chicken was of very poor quality. I won't eat here again and won't recommend it either.

Service was good.
Restaurant was nice.
Food was poorly done. Rice seemed to be reheated or was old from the bottom of the pot. It was clumpy.
Steamed wontons were served with dipping sauce in a to go container. It really hurt the presentation of the food.
Nothing stood out as exceptional in flavor with order.
We ordered pork chow mein which was bland overcooked noodles with little meat.
Wonton with poor presentation with sauce in to go cup. They could have poured it into a small bowl.
General tsao chicken which was dried out chicken fingers made of chicken breast with sauce. I asked for extra spicey and got fresh sliced jalepeno uncooked. It could have been better cooked, it could have been better with chili oil or crushed chili. They made the attempt at least.
Crispy fried noodles with chicken proved difficult to eat. Was dry and unflavored. It could have used more sauce and presented in a bowl so we could mix it. Otherwise it was stir-fry atop a pile of dry fried noodles balanced on a plate.
Portion size was good but seemed to be put together and presented without knowledge. Quality of ingredients were both good and bad.
I would not eat here again.

the mongolian beef i'd say is a 3.5 , yangzhou rice is good but very small portion.
There were only 2 waiters serving ao they were very busy bit man they're like machines...especially my amigo. he was really a hard worker and very nice guy too.

We found Uncle Chen Restaurant on our road trip to Santa Barbara. We had the lunch special and found the food and service good. They have a large selection of Chinese food. Will be back next time going up north.
